It is a government college situated in Jorhat, Assam. It was established in 2009. Candidates who are willing to take admitted to this college for MBBS have to appear and qualify for NEET UG. The student who gets at least a minimum mark of 60% is eligible to appear for NEET. I got admission to this college through the NEET UG entrance exam conducted overall in India. Based on the score obtained, I got this college in 2nd counselling. For PG students, the admission is based on the NEET PG entrance exam. After the NEET exam merit list are given state wise then counselling is used to start and through counselling, we got seats in different medical Colleges.

My Experience of my college

Admission:

Jorhat Medical College is an administration institute. It was set up in 2009. It is a subsidiary of Srimanta Shankardeva University of Health Sciences and it is endorsed by the MCI. Students who need to take admission in this college need to show up for NEET-UG with the latest of 60% in 10+2 and their subjects must be PCB or PCMB.
