The college offers a comprehensive internship program in affiliated hospitals such as NMCH, MBS, and others, following the completion of the MBBS degree. This mandatory one-year internship involves rotations across various clinical and non-clinical departments, providing hands-on experience in medical procedures and patient care, with a stipend ranging from Rs 15,000 to Rs 25,000 per month.
Although direct campus placements are not typical for medical colleges, students have the opportunity to pursue careers in both government and private sectors, with salary packages for super-specialist doctors reaching approximately 30 lakhs and around 10 lakhs for general doctors. Approximately 20% to 30% of students secure placements. After the internship, graduates can choose to practice privately, join hospitals as medical officers, or prepare for further studies through exams like NEET PG or UPSC-CMS.
