The college faculty is recognized for its exceptional qualifications and experience, specifically in the field of medicine. Each department is led by a Head of Department (HoD), with a total of 19 departments, each specialized in different subjects. Faculty members hold advanced degrees such as MD/MS/DNB/DM/Mch and are highly regarded for their teaching skills. The faculty-to-student ratio is aligned with the National Medical Council standards, generally maintaining a ratio of 1:250.
Clinical subjects in the 3rd and 4th years provide significant exposure through interaction with faculty and patients. While the faculty is mostly supportive and approachable, some first-year departments may have less favorable interactions. The anatomy and biochemistry departments are particularly noted for their excellence. However, infrastructure is identified as a downside despite the college being one of the oldest in Rajasthan, established in 1991. The MBBS course duration is 4.5 years plus a 1-year internship, with three internals and a main exam yearly.
The college experiences a failure rate of about 10-30% in exams, with 5% getting a year back. Overall, the faculty is committed to student success despite some challenges.
