BJMC MD (T.B. and Chest) Fees
The MD (T.B. and Chest) at BJMC, Ahmedabad is a government-funded programme with extremely low tuition fees. The total tuition fee for the 3-year course is Rs. 90,000 for male candidates (Rs. 3,500 per term x 6 terms) and nil for female candidates. University registration/enrolment fees are Rs. 15,300 for all students. Additionally, a refundable caution money deposit of Rs. 1,00,800 (equivalent to one month's stipend) is collected at the time of admission. The total payable at the time of admission is Rs. 1,30,800 (caution deposit + first-year government fees of Rs. 30,000).

- The caution money deposit of Rs. 1,00,800 is fully refundable at the end of three years of residency.
- If a student leaves the course midway after admission is confirmed, all fees and caution money deposit are forfeited.
- At the time of reporting/joining, candidates must submit: (1) Demand Draft of Rs. 1,00,800 (caution deposit) and (2) Demand Draft of Rs. 30,000 (first-year government fees), both in favour of "Dean, B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad."
- University fees are to be submitted at the time of PG Teacher allotment, not at the time of reporting.
- No EMI option is available; payment is through Demand Draft only.
- Free hostel accommodation is provided to all PG residents (subject to availability after final round of counselling).
- Residents receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 1,00,800 (1st year), Rs. 1,02,480 (2nd year), and Rs. 1,05,000 (3rd year), which significantly offsets the cost of the programme.
