The college hosts placements with around 5-6 companies visiting for interviews, primarily targeting engineering students, while placements for pharmacy students, including Pharm D, are limited. Reputed companies like Biocon, Lilly, and Dr. Reddy's participate, offering average packages of 2 to 2.5 lakhs per annum. Engineering students typically become eligible for placement in their last semester, with a minimum eligibility of 60% marks required.
For Pharm D students, a compulsory 1-year internship is included in the 6-year course, with a fee of INR 60,000, where students receive a monthly stipend of INR 5,000. Marketing companies such as Abbott, Cipla, and Glaxo Smith Klein also offer internships. The college has a placement cell, though many students opt to find jobs independently.
Internships are considered crucial for securing hospital jobs with better packages.
