One college with different perspectives

Likes

The environment is good and full of greenery
Lot of space for parking vehicles with canteen facility
All staff are good and helpful and there are different block for B and D pharm with sufficient labs

Dislikes

Some practical instruments doesnot works
Some fans doesnot works properly in classes
Sometimes there are not sufficient books in the library which causes the problem of sharing 1 book between 2 students

Course Curriculum Overview:

When i choosed the course my only purpose was to get a license and have my own medicine store ,it all seems to be so interesting. But to actually pass with good marks and degree we have to work actually hard and understand everything accurately for future purposes

Our Pharmacy college

Likes

My college offers a rigorous academic program that challenges students to think critically and creatively.
My college is located in a beautiful city with lots of amazing places to visit.
Two faculties are very supportive there. They helps us in everything.

Dislikes

Cost of tuition fees. 95000 is quite high for this college.
Transportation problem is there. There no college bus for transportation and public transport is also not available there.
Lack of interships, scholarships, placement.

7th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Last year Lupin pharma was there.about 30 students were selected.the highest package was less than 3lpa and lowest was 2lpa. Average 20% gets selected for job . I am thinking of pursuing MBA

A Place to lose old version and find new side of oneself.

Likes

The faculty here are great and always stand to clear doubts
As the college is old they have mostly include great medicinal plants and good relationship with other colleges.
The college conduct various events which is great.

Dislikes

As the faculty are good no problem with theory but some were faces problem with labs as all equipment not there.
Lab equipment is not upto date for understanding and studying.
No social clubs were formed also they have source but making activities for college and society individually.

For final-year students college offer placement and sun pharma and other companies visit the college to offer placements. 60-70% will get job offers but most of the UG students will prefer to go with PG. Some get govt jobs too.

Choosing this course was the only choice for me. but after that, I didn't regret that. Although somehow the faculty was good enough. Even all exams were conducted on time and alongside by side all the activities going on in the college

Placement Experience:

Last semester students are eligible for campus selection. Companies like Cipla, Dr Reddy had visited the company for campus selection. Here the percentage of students getting placement is nearly 75%. I had planned to get my bachelor degree here.

The college Environment & facilities are Nice, our college is located ina village type area which is in Bhubneswar city, in this situation admission process & dates are delayed. The college have many facilities & teachers are friendly.

Admission:

The admissions in this college are provided based on criteria which varies from course to course. For B.Pharma the eligibility criteria is that student must have scored above 50% in 10+2 examination. The students interested in M.Pharma must have a bachelor degree.

Top pharmacy college of Odisha, good hostel accommodation, kind and helpful teaching staffs and most importantly adorable seniors who take care of you. And for those who want to have a college life out of their residence, it's very good.
