The candidate must have passed the Class XII or its equivalent examination from a single recognized board.
Course Details
The college offers admission to B.A, B.Sc and B.Com programs on the basis of candidates’ marks in 10+2. The candidates need to apply online on a centralized web portal of the University of Delhi. These courses are offered in General as well Honors modes. Basic eligibility is a pass in 10+2.
Final admission is offered on the basis of separate cutoff lists published by Delhi University.

Key Points:
- There is reservation for SC/ST/OBC/Person with Disabilities /Kashmiri Migrants as per the University of Delhi directions
- The cut offs are different for different categories.
- For B.Sc. (Honors) Computer Science course, best four academic subjects including one language, Mathematics and two subjects out of Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science/Informatics Practices will be considered.
- For other courses, one language, Mathematics & two academic subjects (List A) with a deduction of 2% in cut off will be taken into account.
- For B.Sc. (Honors) Mathematics course, Mathematics, one language and two best academic subjects as per List A will be considered.
- For B.Sc. Mathematical Science course, Mathematics, one language and two best academic subjects as per List A will be considered.
- For B.A program, the merit will be based on the marks of best four subjects including one language and three best subjects from List A. One subject not listed under List A can be considered. However, if more than one subject is considered which is not listed under List A to maintain the best of four, 2.5% from each of the four subjects will be deducted.
- For B.A. (Hons.) English course, the merit will be based on the best of four subjects including one language and three best subjects from List A. The candidates must have studied and passed the “English” subject. Such candidates will have a 2% advantage if English is included in the calculation of best of four. If one or more subject is considered which is not listed under List A to maintain the best of four, 2.5% from each of the four subjects will be deducted.
- For B.Com. (Hons.), the candidates must have studied and passed Mathematics/Business Mathematics in the qualifying exam. The merit will be based on the marks obtained in one language of part 1 of the C1 (first cut off) list and three subjects from part 2 of C1 or one language of part 1 of the C1 list and three subjects from part 2 of list C1, C2 (second cut off) or any other subject not listed in C1 and C2. If one or more subject is considered which is not listed under list to maintain the best of four, 2.5% from each of the four subjects will be deducted.
- All subjects to be included in the calculation of best Four subjects must have at least 70% theory part.
- Admissions are also offered under ECA and Sports category.

Fees and Financial Aid:
College fees during my time are different all years for first year i paid 26,000 , second year 30,000 and final year 36,000 approx . Apart from that additional 1500 as registration fees. There are no fee concession based of category except PH category.

- first of all it is an delhi university college so there is all needed facilities and crowd is good . and it have best infrastrucure labs and library are well maintained and there is so many active societies. but placement cell is not much active
- festivals and programs are very well celebrated here it does not organise festas much as north campus colleges but decent programs are held

- placement cell is not much active it is one of the most important cons of the college
- and college does not have a huge campus so there no outdoor games . but student adjust and play but they does not have well sports infra

hii, i am rajesh currently studying in bsc cs honours course at deen dayal upadhyay college delhi . i paid 47500 ruppes annual fee for this course it contains. 1.tuition fee -180 2.course fee-15000 i.e. for only cs department student 3.library -1000 4.expenditure of electricity etc.-8000 and in this examination fee is not included

- Professor are very knowledgeable and helpful. Different types of workshop organised time to time.
- Infrastructure is one of the best among du colleges. I can say the best infrastructure. 3 floor library with sufficient books.

- No sports ground. Our college ground was too small.

Total Fees for 3 years :-102000 1st year :- 30000 2nd year :- 33000 3rd year :- 39000 Fees increased year by year during my time. Same fees for each category. Detailed fee structure is available on website for each year. All Nsp scholarships are available for meritorious students. The college also provides a scholarship of Rs 10000 ('college scholarship') and a "fee concession" of Rs 7500 to the meritorious students having an attendance of more than 80% in the previous semester/year and Last semester marks should be greater than 70 % For fee concession there is one more criterion of income less than 5 lakh per annum.

- Annual fest and events like dandiya night.
- AC rooms and well equiped labs of every course.
Dislikes
- Time table have gap of hours between 2 classes
- Washrooms don't have working water cistern

Current fee of 3rd year is 44855, it is increased from 39 thousand in second year and 35 thousand in 1st year. Current tuition fee and cfsc mg is 24585, cswf is 8270, univ. fee cswf is 1600 and development fund cdf is 10400 for general category.

- College have good infrastructure and high quality labs. The computer labs are very updated.The entire building is air conditioned. The class rooms are well arranged and the students cabin is very outstanding.The college auditorium is very advanced
- The societies and very active and conducts plenty of programs and competitions. They also provides good cash awards for the winners. And very supportive for the students.
Dislikes
- The faculties of Computer science is not that supportive. They are not that much strict and work oriented. Many of them are not sincere and hardworking. The lectures are very boring.
- The campus have no enough yard. No natural ambience for the students to spend their leisure time. Also there is no ground for football and cricket. No basketball court. The college is not thatmuch supportive for sports
Fees and Financial Aid:
The tuition fee for computer science is a bit more comparing to other courses because it is self financing. But there are many student supporting scholarships which refunds upto 50% of the tuition fee. It is 30000 per year. There was a huge hike in the fee for the final years which gone from 30k to 40k. This happened because of 7000 added as the society fund.It was a burden for the students. There is a placement cell but nothing related to placements are reached to the students.

- Infrastructure of college is quite good.
- Computer labs and libraries are well built and have acs.
Dislikes
- Campus is really very small and no garden make it less appealing
- No proper sports area available in college supporting many sports

If i give my views fees is really high if we compare it to the available resources in college. It can be reduced or maybe some more facilities can be provided and improved as well. They are charging more than 44000 for my course. If you maintain good attendance, you can avail for scholarship as well. I am in 1st year so i haven't got much opportunities.

- The labs are insane as mentioned you get freaking i7 12th processors
- All classroom have air conditioning and projectors

- The walls of the the college are not well maintained in some places

- Canteen. The canteen is very affordable and serves a wide variety of food. The sitting area is air conditioned so it's an added advantage. We use recyclable steel plates and thus usage of plastic is minimum

- Our batch was assigned a series of guest teachers due to shortage of professors and therefore we had a hard time learning certain subjects. The college seems to have worked upon this issue after multiple complaints and the newer batch has good profe

The scholarship is not provided on a merit basis. It is provided on basis of family income and other benchmarks. One can avail of multiple scholarships at once and the college sends notices about the same whenever an opportunity arises.

It may not be right to compare the colleges under DU among each other. As most of them have similar curriculum and teaching techniques.
But if infrastructure is considered Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College (DDUC) is far better than other colleges under DU. As it is a newly established institution, the facilities provided are upgraded with the latest technology.
They also are known to have a very highly experienced faculty, some of them even having 20-30 years of teaching experience. DDUC is popular for its Science and Commerce streams.
Therefore if you wish to choose among DDUC and ARSD College for an Honours degree in Computer Science, it is suggested that you go for the former rather than the latter.
