  • Courses are difficult, please be prepared to study here otherwise it will be difficult to survive, finance courses are extremely tough for non finance background person so be prepared to study 3-4 hours a day at that time, curriculum is mixed of both theoretical and practical
  • I had 3 classes per week each was for 3 hours so not many classes but some semester I had 5 classes per week , each 3 hours,.it depends on how quickly you want to finish your MBA, we have afternoon and evening classes and very few morning ones, in my batch 50% were Indian students,

Fees

  • Total fees for MBA program was $55,000, and $3500 for books, fees are charged credit vise and they are due each semester/term, there are 3 terms winter/summer/fall, I didn't stayed at campus hostel but if one want to stay then costing is around at $2000 per month, if you stay outside campus like me then rent is $500-$900 per month,
  • You can finish MBA based on how many course/credits you take in a term, minimum you have to take as a international student to maintain full time status is 9 credit per term,
  • Your monthly expenses will be around $1200 - $3000 per month including all, it highly depends how you live, some my friends who are living in sharing room and cook at home their monthly expenses is around $800-$900 including everything, for me it's around $1500 per month, Rent - $500, transportation - $300, Food and groceries -$500, phone bill - $100, miscellaneous -$100,

The academic pressure is lesser here because people focus more on grades whereas there's more detailing here in India, where people expect 91,92,93. The pressure is much less.

In the beginning, you'll be lost in a new city when you study abroad. This is difficult especially in the Netherlands, where english isn't the main language. For the first semster or two semesters, it's better to stay in campus even if you pay a little extra. After you get to know the city, and make friends, and know the system of the country and housing market rates, then you can get a place when you're ready to stay by yourself.

Heavy on the sciences (i.e. Chemistry), well laid out, however there were a lot of labs associated with each class and therefore the ideal "4 Year Degree" may turn into a 4 and a half to 5 years to do. Most courses are interesting and some were relevant for when you get a job.

Fees

The Fee was roughly $4500.00 or so since it was a science program. It was similar to the Faculty of Science, and most of the additional charges are for the labs that were used. For international students, there are scholarships available on the websites including the faculty website and the University of Manitoba Website.
