• If you are not able to meet the English proficiency test requirements, you might be given a Conditional English Proficiency Admission, provided you meet the following requirements:
  • Program-specific requirements are met
  • IELTS - 6.0 in each band. The exam must be taken within 2 years of application
  • TOEFL iBT - 80 overall, 16 in Listening, Reading, and Speaking, and 18 in Writing. The exam must be taken within 2 years of application
  • Recommendation from the appropriate graduate Program Committee.

• For admission to M.S. programs, you need to secure a supervisor before applying.

  • After selecting the appropriate supervisor, you need to fill up the Contact Form, which highlights your skills and experience
  • You must submit the confirmation from the faculty member who has agreed to supervise you with your application.

• For M.S. Computer Science - The 4-year bachelor’s degree should be in Computer Science, with courses including Data Structures and Programming Languages.
• For M.S. Management - Accounting - A degree in accounting is required, and work experience in accounting is a valuable asset.

The University of Lethbridge Fall 2024 enrolment was more than 8,000 students. Out of this, international students number 1,600, nearly 20%.
