- UofL has the lowest tuition rate in Alberta. Also lots of international students. On top of that the professors are really nice and lot of opportunities to build relationships.
- Smaller class sizes. easier to build relations with professors. lots of opportunity for research. there are also lot of scholarships available. Smaller class sizes also help connections with other students that helps broadening one's network which is very helpful in the long run. There are opportunities to do co-op as well.
Dislikes
- Depending on what major you are choosing your possible class options can be limited. For example my first degree was in mathematics and there are very few options available for people who are interested in studying applied mathematics.
Overview
My experience has been wonderful for both my first degree in mathematics and second degree in applied statistics.
Overview
Mostly because of online learning which is quite flexible. Another factor was admission requirements are not that competitive
Overview
I got recommended by the parent's accountant. Learned qualities of school, close to the home small city can be independent cheap to live in good. The application took classes that I took in high school. I did pretty well in high school. Knew I wanted to go to this school. I didn't want to go to a post-secondary school that was too big.
