Note: Applicants, with following qualifications, are exempted from submitting above scores:
- Degree equivalent of full-time instruction in an English language secondary institution as recognized by the Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland
- Successful completion of at least two courses in English language and/or literature at the Grade XII (or equivalent) level.
Visa Requirements for International Students
Students must apply for a study permit from outside Canada before moving to Canada to study. They can either apply online or by paper application.
Applicants are required to provide the following documents to receive the study permit as a part of the visa process:
- Copy of valid passport or travel document.
- Proof of financial support
- Police certificate
- Designated Learning Institution (DLI)
- Letter of Acceptance.
- Evidence of English Language proficiency.
- Medical certificate.
Applicants are then required to give the biometrics and attend the nearest visa application centre and post documents to the Canadian Embassy once the confirmation is given.

Admissions are offered to students on the basis of their academic excellence, official test scores, supporting documents and an on-time application submission with the required fee.
