- They offered students their own selection of timetable from about 100+ choices. It means that I can study at my preferred time from about 100 options.
- Conestoga offers both online and hybrid mode of study in almost all the business courses and even asynchronous classes.
- Apart from studies they have a large network in the business industry which helped me secure job after finishing my graduation.

- Conestoga college has usually more students per class than any other college in Canada which is sometimes an issue for the learners.
- Students have to commute to another campus for their classes in various cases due to equipment availabilities which is inconvenience especially in winter times.
- The building is always under construction at various parts which is an inconvenience to the students at times.
- I found my accommodation through one of my friends who was already in Canada at Conestoga college before me. My monthly rent was about $600/month which included utilities and wi-fi charges. Most of the students at Conestoga college doesn't find it a challenge to find housing because it has great transit from and to the college. Also, there are many condominiums near the college location which are rented out to the students.
- Most of the Indian students strive to stay in their communities, while the white people stay at the college residence and the black students live in the condos. Everybody prefers to live as near as possible. I was 20 min away from college via transit.

- Ambience & Teaching culture - Entire campus has a wonderful environment. The campus is vast with multiple blocks where each block is associated with each courses. The campus is well known for the wide variety of courses it offers the students. Right from haircut to research technology, students have flexibility to choose the courses of their interest. Apart from the two year courses, there are one year courses too which will help the students to switch or learn multiple subjects. The college prefers students to apply the concepts in real life for better understanding and expertise.
- Recreation centre - The next big thing about the doon campus is the big building which gives the options for students to utilise for their mobility and exercises. It has a North and South Gymnasium with a large gym, basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court, Indoor cricket stadium, Squash court and a 250 meter runway along with a Pitapit which sells healthy and protein food.
- Events - The craziest and funniest things are the events held in the campus. You don't get surprised when each week has at least one event happening in the campus. You have the Venue which is an Indoor party hall where you can booze, eat, sing and dance with your fellow mates and outdoor events that happen during the summer and fall with DJ and EDM artists entertaining you all around. You should never miss this. It is a place to expand your network and friends.

- Class timings - The class timings are too extreme. You have early morning classes at 8AM sometimes and sometimes your class ends late night around 10PM. Although few courses are online, the issue comes when the classrooms are in different blocks and students have to walk for at least 10 minutes in this large campus. Attendance is taken into consideration. Students have to inform the professor if they are on leave.
- Increased tuition fees - While applying for the college, students were advised of a fixed amount for each semester fees, but things have changed later, the fees was increased by 1500 dollars in the third semester and fourth semester. This bought a burden to all the students. Increased fees created a major inconvenience for everyone.
- Overcrowded students (as of 2023 and 2024)- The large number of students was a major trouble as every single time we step into the campus, we see students and crowd everywhere. As majority of the students travel in the buses, they hardly got the space to even stand in the buses. If there is no space available, students had to wait for another bus in the freezing climate. It is not easy to stand in the extreme temperatures.
- Off campus is better, as the price is less. I used Facebook and also personal networks to get an accommodation.
- I paid 500 for a shared room.
- I did not find many challenges. My friends found the accommodation challenging in the beginning due to the housing crisis.
- My suggestions for the future students would be to just try to get in touch with the people already staying in Canada. They will be happy to help.
- My accommodation is 13km away, and I used to travel almost an hour to reach the campus. I was comfortable at my house, so travelling never bothered me much.
