I don't think, companies even visit colleges or universities for placements. Even if they do, they only go to big universities like UBC.

Experience, availability, About you, Contact, Writing Cover letter is also important. It was suitable for my program and I took suggestions from one of my uncle living in Canada. Quite good experience. I just want to finish my studies as early as possible.

Most of the students opt to complete their bachelors after an associate's degree since they can spend only two more years and complete a bachelors with co-op at universities such as SFU or UBC. Even if a student opts for their work permit, students can find decent work positions with the knowledge gained in the associate's. People do find great placements at job fairs depending on the student's profile. I have personally seen people find great placements since CS is very in demand field in Canada.

Columbia is one of the cheapest schools in Vancouver. An associate degree allows me to save money that i can put in the future for my bachelors at universities such as SFU or UBC. Columbia also has a good amount of international students ( mostly Indian). Columbia college also had a pretty chilled out schedule with about 3 days a week of classes during my 1st and 2nd sem which was great for any international student working to earn a living.

The college doesn't provide placements and jobs which would be its one defect that could be improved. It helps with university transfers that's really the silver lining. Any student in this college can transfer to any university all throughout Canada with good grades. The institution has deep connections with other universities and their teachers as well to help students make connections.

Columbia College is located in the heart of Vancouver near the science world which is a perfect place for school and easy to commute. This college has provided me with the perfect opportunity to explore myself and what do I really want to major in. I have also heard the stories of this college in my own city seven seas away. It is a little expensive for the internationals but I would say the experience is worth it for sure.

College provide some placement courses so that we can skip minor courses which are non-credit. If student is not able to pass for one time, he or she can try again.

Because this Collège was best as per my knowledge as well as it was providing my courses at that time.
