  • Statistics: Approximately 89% of the graduates at Canadore College find employment within six months of graduation.
  • CANADORE COLLEGE-Average Salary Range:
  • Estimates: Though the amounts for all courses are not readily available, rest assured that their salaries will be very decent with respect to their study discipline and relevant current market standards.
  • Job Search Strategies:-Strategies: The students usually get employed through campus recruitment, internships, information networking, and job portals.
  • Placement Highlights:-Examples: Specific placement experiences and companies hiring graduates vary by program. Students should refer to the college's career services for detailed information.
  • Major Employers:-Industries: Graduates work in a wide variety of fields, including health care, technology, education, and business.

  • I chose off-campus accommodation near Canadore College. It was around 10-15 minutes from campus, by public transportation.
  • How I Found It:  -I found the accommodation through online platforms and student groups on Discord and Telegram, which are popular among international students. These groups provided useful leads and insights into available housing options.
  • Rent and Facilities:-It usually would go in the range of **CAD 500-700 per month**, but this depended on the type and shared arrangements. The basic utilities of heating, electricity, and water were usually included in the rent; not all, but some accommodations had free Wi-Fi.
  • Challenges:-The major problem was locating reasonably-priced, comfortable housing before arrival in Canada. Most landlords either ask for advance payments or references, which were not easy to furnish from abroad. During peak intake seasons, furthermore, housing becomes very competitive, hence requiring a student to plan well in advance.
  • Recommendations for Future Students:-Start looking for accommodation **2-3 months in advance of your arrival** to avoid last-minute hassle.
  • You also can look up rooms or apartments on the marketplace on Facebook, Kijiji, or specific Telegram groups for Indian students. Still, beware of scams, so verification of property and landlords has to be done in advance. Network with current students for actual referrals.
  • Indian Student Housing:-Most of the Indian students prefer staying in shared apartments or houses within the vicinity of the college either at Trout Lake Road or in Airport Road, well accessible to the campus through public transportation. The localities are reasonably affordable and very friendly towards the students.

Not as expected. More support is required from the College in this department and more campus interview should be arranged.

Yes. Strength, my education and field experience and my family background Related to my previous field of study and it is next step in advancing into my career. The College is very well set to accommodate international students along with the local students. Lot of support from the College Staff and different departments help simplify our multiple issues.

Right now we do not have any placement ideas. But in the next semester college will give us some references for co-op.

So if I talk about my overall experience in Canadore college is very good. Student councelors are helpful and support staff is also there when you need some help.

I didn't get a chance for Company visits as my course doesn't have Co-Op. But I know other students who got Co-ops at different companies.

I can say My college was good as there were no tight deadlines or complicated exams. But the only drawback is that there was no Campus.

There is no on-campus placements. We have to look up on LinkedIn, indeed, or other job websites. We can also build connections with friends, or people we meet around daily and search for jobs.

I chose this college because of the courses offered by the college.

It all depends on ability to present in the Canadian set up. During my education I was offered care support assistant job in a long-term care home. If you are studying for two years this can be a good opportunity to grow.

I applied for express entry program in 2020 to get PR in Canada so that I can pursue DDS in Canada with the Canadian government loan which would be offered to Canadian PR holders. However, God has a different plan with Covid -19 impacting everyone around the world in someway. So, I started working in a covid hospital in Visakhapatnam which sparked my interest in learning about healthcare administration which lead me choose Canadore college as I heard good reviews about this college. I studying in Canadore college can say that the college covers all the required mandate posted by the government of Ontario. Also the teachers are so warm and try to help you in every possible way to get you a better knowledge and understanding. Currently the classes are online! Therefore, if you wish to pursue any course in Canada and want to attend offline, may be they resume after the pandemic ends.

.

I learned about this college by doing research about mental health and addiction type programs. I also had heard great things about the college from alumni that had gone there previously. I applied to 3 different colleges and was accepted to all 3. After previously graduating from a different college I determined that I wanted to take a different route into a new field.

Not many companies visited and offered jobs.Because this college have some programs which are not industry based. This is what real industry wants the experience. There some programs are not really meeting

Canadore is more focused on practical knowledge to succeed in real world. I get acceptance of too many colleges but I prefer it as it was one of best researched colleges by my parents. I was interested in business and they have more curricular activities that s why I chose it. Canadore is good colleges to study
