University of Technology Sydney Courses and Fees 2026

• The syllabus is pretty up to date and covers current industry tools and frameworks. We get decent industrial exposure through guest lectures, case studies, and group projects with real company scenarios.
• Usually, I have 2 to 3 classes a day, mostly between 10 AM and 6 PM, with each class running 2 to 3 hours. Class sizes vary; smaller electives have around 25 students while core subjects can go up to 50 or 60.

• For international students, the Master of Engineering Management is around AUD 20,000 to 25,000 per semester. Total course fees come to approximately AUD 50,000 to 70,000 for the full 2-year program.

• The course syllabus was as per the job market, and we had multiple guest lectures and industry projects where we took on an actual project from a partner company.
• We usually had one lecture per subject per week, along with any tutorials as per the subject requirement. My course had fewer classes than other courses, averaging 3 classes per week overall.

• I paid 60,000 AUD roughly after a 25% scholarship.

• My course curriculum was not that easy as the post graduation study requires a lot of subject research. The elective subjects were a bit practical but the rest of the subjects were theory based.

• In my opinion, there were no such negative impacts of the course. All the assignments you submit must be plagiarism free which gives you an opportunity to thoroughly understand the subject matter.

• I did not stay in the University Hostel as it was very expensive (atleast 300 AU$ per week in 2018) . So I decided to stay in suburbs which are bit far from the city and affordable to rent.

• My total fees was AU$72000 for two years. I used to pay AU$18000 per semester. If you have studied any subject which is going to appear in your post graduate studies, you can apply for credit which will help you to save some money as you do not have to pay the fees of that particular subject

• I used to stay in a shared accommodation as it helped to reduce my rent. If you have a good understanding with your flatmates, you could also share your overall expenses (rent and groceries)

It’s very good. There are many societies related to IT and engineering where there are industrial exposures for students.

The course curriculum is very good, through and flexible. I'm able to study and work part time at ease as I was able to select my own classes. All classes have lecture and practical classes. All assignments have some aspect of practical/implementation required which makes it challenging and fun.

It costs about 28 Lakhs INR per year.

The Course Curriculum at the time we were studying was good enough. Later when I was working in the industry, I found out that the curriculum is still the same and is being not updated regularly.

Due to Covid, University shifted to online classes. Online classes and interactions are going well. However, paying lots of money for staying home and doing a master's is not worth it.

The course curriculum is quite vast and has a lot of subjects and fields to choose from. The MBA program has within it 8 core subjects which total 48 credit points and the remaining 48 of the total 96 credit points can be acquired by selecting any subject from the electives provided. The student can also choose two sub-majors or one major in their course. I enjoy academics because it involves theoretical as well as industry-relevant practical knowledge with professors from all across the globe sharing their personal experiences.

Approximately 86000 AUD is the program fee.
