The Music studies major at Macquarie University combines practical and theoretical components and provides the opportunity to specialise in particular musical interests. It offers a comprehensive coverage of diverse 20th and 21st-century music concepts, practices, technologies and industries. They’ll develop practical and critical skills in musical practices, theories and technologies; learn key communication methods in music and media contexts to enhance their employability; and learn to adapt to changing practices and technologies through real-world experiences.
