There were school campus accommodations, but they were limited and very hard to get into. It was also expensive. It was generally shared.

I chose this university because they are strong in the accounting major and have good graduate full-time employment rates.? I have gained a lot from my university, not knowledge from all the lectures but friendships from times I spent days and nights in the library, gaining good relationships and acquaintances that later on were helpful when I joined the workforce. If I could choose again, I would still go to Macquarie University.

The university accommodation is really expensive one. But for bachelors students it’s one of the most convenient option. Apart from that the other option are renting out apartments or finding rooms on flatmates. ( average cost per room is approximately 250-300 AUD).

The university is wonderful with amazing faculty. The campus is beautiful and provides all facilities with good technologies.

Accommodation price in university is almost same outside and in the university. So it is better to stay outside with someone known. There are apartments daily requirement needs such as beds, refrigerator, microwave etc.

First, I searched for courses that I want to pursue and accordingly I researched for university and I found this degree good for me in this university. Going through IDP will help a lot and I would recommend that. The best part of this university is that they offer double degrees at the same time.

I live with my parents so I don't have to pay for rent or food. I pay for my car and phone and I have a job but my parents cover all the other living expenses. I would love to live in Sydney so I don't have to catch the train so I really hope we can move to Sydney soon.

This was my first preference because I really wanted to go to uni in Sydney. I really love Sydney so much and I can't wait until I can live there but for now, I have to catch the train but hopefully, I can move there very soon because I feel like good stuff will happen once I'm actually living in Sydney and am close.

My parents own their own house in Sydney so there was no problem with residence but I would rather prefer living on campus as transportation costs are cut down and gives u more time to meet new people and focus more time on studying.

I got an early offer from this university and also because it has a great reputation within Sydney. Also because it is very easy to access as well so transportation becomes very easy. Based in the center of Sydney.

The open day for Macquarie was sub-par, to say the least, but its potential accessibility, quality of education, and unit offerings made it an attractive option. I ultimately chose to attend this university for its convenient location and career prospects. I applied for 6 universities and was offered places for five. Whilst my ATAR was not spectacular, bonus points pushed me above the line in nearly every case. The enrollment process for Macquarie seemed difficult, but comprehensive. I noted its 'backwardness' and lack of intuitive design, but acknowledged its support that seemed to be missing from other options I explored.I chose this programme for its applicability to my diplomatic plans. I always intended to go into International Relations or something close to it, and International Studies seemed perfect. Compulsory units tend to rely less on exams and more on internal assessments, which has proven to be a great stress reliever. I enjoy participating in class discussions and the programme has catered well to my wants and needs.

Living with parents, 1-2 hours bus ride to/from home. The bus only comes every hour or so, miss one and you will be bored for an hour, or in the case of exams - you are pretty much screwed. Meal and trip costs covered by the allowance. Food is overpriced because they know students are too lazy to go outside the campus. Living on campus or my having my accommodation is extremely expensive in Sydney. People are encouraged to share accommodation or stay with family.

I choose this college because Macquarie is part of the "Big 4" universities in Sydney, as long you are in one of these 4 universities in Sydney then you are "safe" career-wise.

I did not have the Australian equivalent of the entry requirements to get into an Australian uni. My Family applied for this uni and my siblings got in therefore I attempted it too. It was so worth it.
