Monash University Fees Refund

Monash University provides 100% fee refund to international students in the following cases:

• When the university itself withdraws, the students' admission offer is withdrawn.
• When the university officially does not offer that particular program anymore.
• Your student visa is delayed, and you cannot start your program at the right time.
• Any personal problem that can be considered serious by the university.

Monash University offers a partial refund of fees to international students in the following cases:

• If you cancel early, more than 4 weeks before the course starts, most of the tuition fees are refunded, but  AUD 500 / INR 32,942 might be deducted.
• If you cancel, less than 4 weeks before the course starts, the university might deduct 50% of the fees for that semester.
• If your student visa is rejected, then the university might deduct AUD 500 / INR 32,942 or 5% of prepaid tuition fees (whichever is smaller).
• If you withdraw before the census date.

Monash University will not offer a refund to international students in the following cases:

• You withdrew from admission after the census date.
• You misbehaved/misconducted.
• Submitted false documents.
• Fees are paid using a prepaid card.
• The student does not withdraw, but simply stops studying.
• Fails due to academic misconduct.
