- Shortlist your program on the ACU course finder and confirm Indian eligibility and the program-area English minimum.
- Create an applicant account on the ACU international application portal.
- Upload documents including scanned Class XII or Bachelor’s transcripts, English test result, passport bio page and CV.

Australian Catholic University Acceptance Rate for Indian Students
ACU does not publish an official institution-wide acceptance rate. Third-party tracking places the figure at 67 to 80% for international applicants meeting stated academic and English requirements, based on intake-pattern analysis. The university admits most applicants who meet its stated requirements, with competitive filtering happening at clinical-program level rather than at the institution gate.
Australian Catholic University Acceptance Rate by Program Type
Coursework programs in business, IT, arts and education sit at the higher end of that range. Clinical entries for Nursing, Physiotherapy and Paramedicine run tighter because of placement caps, with effective conversion closer to 50 to 60% of qualifying applicants. PhD admission is supervisor-driven and effective offer rates sit near 60% of those with a confirmed supervisor.
Improving Your Chances at Australian Catholic University
Apply in the first six weeks of the cycle, target clinical programs with verified placement capacity, and clear the English minimum with one band to spare. Reading Indian student reviews of recent intakes helps you size up program-fit signals before paying the application fee.
Australian Catholic University admissions reward Indian applicants who apply early, verify their English minimum against the specific program, and arrive at the portal with attested transcripts in hand. With a 67 to 80% access-oriented rate, the bar is aligned to program prerequisites, not global pool competition.

Overview
ACU was originally a nursing/medical school, so they have very good facilities on campus that others don't have. It is also one of the closest to where I live. I had also heard many great things about the school and its facilities were certainly one of the main strong points about going there. This particular course also had placements in the good first year and another deciding factor.
Overview
Since I really wanted to study in Brisbane, I only applied for colleges that are located in Brisbane city and ACU is one of those. Out of my first 4 preferences, ACU was the one that accepted my application. I also chose this uni as their graduates have a high employment rate and they have programs that help you find a location for your medical placements.
Overview
The Australian Catholic University, had a sister partnership with my high school, granting access to most students, it was also the only uni that offered a degree in exercise science, combined with a teaching degree. It offered my two preferred degrees in one.
Overview
Great location, central to public transport, local cafes, shops, and parks. The facilities that ACU has top all other universities. The facilities represent clinical placement and act as a great learning source for all health science students.
Scholarship
No, I have not, haven?t tried as I don't meet most of the criteria so haven't thought about it.
Overview
This college is the best for my degree. They offer hands on placement within the first few years of your my degree in which is ideal when entering a the teaching force. The university has a strong focus on ethics and not just intelligence in which I admire about the college.
Overview
This college is the only one I found that offered such a unique course that appeals to me, it is a very welcoming and safe campus and offers a range of extracurricular, social justice and global experiences.
