- Supportive and approachable professionals who delivered content really well and guided me through out time.
- Good campus facilities and resources for study
- Practical learning that helped to build real skills
Dislikes
- The fee structure was uneven, and overall costs felt too high
- No placement or job-support opportunities
- Limited support in areas like placement or career guidance.
- I did not personally search for accommodation, as I was saying to my brother, so I chose off-campus as it comes with flexibility, while on campus is relatively costly, but good fun with fellows, as you get to know different people with different backgrounds, and you personally grow in the same environment. The accommodation process starts with a referral first. If you get a referral, there are more chances that you‘ll get reliable accommodation easily.
- In other cases, you need to look for agencies, Facebook marketing, and social groups where they do ads. Quickly get you through the housing price on campus will cost you 400 a week, which mostly covers everything except meals, and off-campus may vary, but on average, 400 to 600 fortnight, depending on your lifestyle. Yet again, it’s just rent. Popular locations are around the city area, as living in the city is not pocket-friendly.

- As the campus is spread wide, students might encounter difficulty in getting to classroom on time, specially if you are not good at physical activity get prepared to get your leg muscle toned.
- While the university website is amazing, it might take time to get used to.
- The university has strict policy against AI and plagiarism, so international students need to be acquainted with proper resource referencing, which I feel can be tough at the beginning.
- I had preselected my accommodation prior to landing in Adelaide in Scape, student accommodation. It was suggested by the IDP counsellors. It was a bit nerve-wracking because of my schedule of flying.
- I booked in 2 weeks prior to landing and I had to pay extra. The room was very small with a bunk bed, shared bathroom and a small kitchen place. Later I discovered that rooms can be availed through facebook groups as well. But beware of scammers! Do not pay until an agreement is made!

As I aspire to become a doctor in the near future, I had to do a 3 year undergraduate course before actually going into a medical school. Flinders University offered me the course that I wished for and also had a 25% reservation for their undergraduates in their medical school
Best college of nursing program in the state and one of the leading universities in Australia/the world. It is also close to home (only 15-minute drive) which makes it easier to still live at home and study.
It was my second choice my first being Uni Adelaide. I'm glad I went to Flinders University however because I find they have a great community and everyone is very supportive and friendly.
