Bihar Scholarship Key Eligibility

• Students studying at the post-matriculation level (class 11 to graduation level) are eligible for this scholarship.

• The minimum family income is required to be INR 2,50,000.
• They must not benefit from any other scholarships.

Benefits

• The hostellers will get maintenance up to INR 1200 every month, and the day scholars will get maintenance up to INR 500 every month for 10 months.
• Students with disabilities will get an additional maintenance payment of INR 240 per month.
• Non-refundable scholarships will be provided.
• Tuition fees will be given up to INR 1600 per year.
• Research scholars will get INR 1600 for thesis writing and printing.

BC-EBC Scholarship

The candidate should be a resident of Bihar and be from an economically backward class. The last date for applications for the BC-EBC scholarship is July 31, 2023. The candidate can apply online at the Bihar post-matric portal.

• Students studying at the post-matriculation level (class 11 to graduation level) are eligible for this scholarship.

Pre Matric Scholarship for OBC Students

• Students from 1st grade - 10th grade are eligible for this scholarship.

BTSE Bihar Talent Search Examination

The Lok Kalyan Parishad and Mployd Edutech Pvt. Ltd. are the organizers of this scholarship, and it’s open to Class 7 to 10 students who qualify for the Bihar Talent Search Examination. As part of the scholarship, the chosen students will receive gifts like computers, notepads, tablets, smartwatches, and financial aid up to INR 20,000.

Post Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities

The scholarship is for students with disabilities who are enrolled in classes from 11th grade to post-graduation. The applicants for this scholarship must have a minimum of 40% disability, be certified by the state government's or UTs' competent medical authority, and have an annual household income of less than INR 2,50,000. Maintenance allowance, book allowance, handicap allowance, etc. are all included in the scholarship amount that the students would get.

Ministry of Labour and Employment Pre-Matric Scholarship

The Indian Government's Ministry of Labour and Employment runs this scholarship. This program is for students in classes 1–10 who are dependents of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM employees. According to this program, the chosen students would earn scholarships worth up to INR 1,840.

Ministry of Labour and Employment Post-Matric Scholarship

In addition to the pre-matric scholarship, the Ministry of Labour and Employment also provides post-matric scholarships for students in Class 11 to postgraduate level (including diploma courses) who are Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM employees. The program offers scholarships up to INR 15,000 to the chosen students.
