Students who did not get a seat in TS EDCET 2026 Phase 1 counselling, those who want to upgrade their allotted college and those who skipped Phase 1 entirely are all eligible to apply for Phase 2 counselling.

TS EDCET (Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test) 2026 counselling is conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of TSCHE for B.Ed admissions across Telangana. Phase 2 counselling is scheduled for July 2026. Students who missed Phase 1 or did not get their preferred college now have another chance through Phase 2 and the subsequent vacant seat round in August 2026.

  • Phase 2 counselling registration opens in July 2026 on the official counselling portal.
  • Students who completed certificate verification in Phase 1 can proceed to web options in Phase 2 without re-verification.
  • The vacant seat (spot admission) round is conducted in August 2026 for B.Ed seats remaining after both phases.
  • Basic qualification: 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree (40% for SC/ST/BC/PwD categories).
  • Seat allotment in every phase is based on TS EDCET 2026 merit rank, reservation category and web options submitted.

Who Can Apply for TS EDCET 2026 Phase 2 Counselling

Phase 2 counselling is open to a wider set of students than just those who missed Phase 1. The following categories of students are eligible to participate:

  • Students not allotted any seat in Phase 1 — if you registered and participated in Phase 1 but did not receive an allotment, you are automatically eligible for Phase 2.
  • Students who want to upgrade their Phase 1 seat — if you were allotted a seat in Phase 1 but prefer a different college or city, you can exercise fresh web options in Phase 2 for a better allotment.
  • Students who did not participate in Phase 1 — if you qualified TS EDCET 2026 but skipped Phase 1 for any reason, Phase 2 is open to you, subject to fresh certificate verification.
  • Students who got a Phase 1 seat but did not report to college — if you were allotted a seat but missed the self-reporting deadline, you can re-enter counselling through Phase 2.
  • Students who cancelled their Phase 1 admission — if you got a seat, reported to the college but later cancelled your admission, Phase 2 gives you another opportunity.

Students who completed certificate verification in Phase 1 do not need to re-verify documents in Phase 2. They can directly submit fresh web options once Phase 2 registration opens. Students appearing in Phase 2 counselling for the first time must complete certificate verification before exercising web options.
