How to Prepare Your REAP 2026 Documents

Start collecting and verifying documents well before July 4, 2026 to avoid rejection or delays at registration or reporting.

  1. Check certificate validity: OBC-NCL and EWS certificates must be from April 2026 or later. Obtain fresh ones now if yours are older.
  2. Scan at 300 DPI: Scan all documents at 300 DPI and save them as PDF. Keep each file under 200 KB for smooth upload during online registration.
  3. Self-attest every photocopy: Write "Self-Attested", the date, and your signature on each photocopy. Do not have a third party attest them.
  4. Prepare three sets of photocopies: Colleges often keep one set for records — having three sets ready means you are never short on reporting day.
  5. Organise in a labelled folder: Keep originals in a separate section from photocopies so you can hand over copies quickly without risking your originals.
  6. Download the allotment letter immediately: As soon as your seat is allotted, log in, download and print the allotment letter — it is required on reporting day and colleges do not accept a mobile screen.
  7. Prepare anti-ragging affidavits in advance: Both you and your parent must sign separate affidavits. Download the prescribed format from the official REAP portal before reporting day.
