• A student must score at least above 45% to qualify for the exam, irrespective of the category.
• As per the experts, the expected cutoff for the General category will be around 170-180, unlike last year (GPAT 2025), which were of 216 marks.
• Similarly, there is a drop in EWS and OBC-NCL cutoffs as 150-10 and 130-140, respectively.
• For SC, ST, and PwD, the cutoff is likely to be 110-120, 75-85 and 65-80.

Previous GPAT Cutoff Category-wise 2025

The GPAT 2025 cutoff was higher than the GPAT expected cutoff for the year 2026.

• For General category students, the cutoff was 216.
• The cutoff marks for EWS and OBC-NCL category students was 172 and 168 respectively.
• The SC and ST category students had their cutoffs as 119 and 75-80 respectively.

Expected Marks and Ranking for GPAT 2026

Generally if a student scores a total above 300, it is considered to be a good score. Considering the GPAT 2025 results, this year the expected highest mark is around 375-385.

• Students securing around 295-380 marks expected to be under 100th rank.
• Students scoring above 200 and within 225 are expected to be within the 1000th rank.
• Any score above 180 is considered to have a higher possibility of getting into AICTE approved institutions for M.Pharm.

Reservation Policy for GPAT 2026
