How to Confirm Your MET 2026 Round 3 Seat

After the Round 3 allotment result is released on June 30, 2026, follow these steps on the counselling portal to secure your admission.

1. Visit counseling.manipal.edu and log in with your registered application credentials.
2. Navigate to BTech Counselling and click the Round 3 Seat Allotment link.
3. Review your allotted branch and campus. Download the allotment letter for your records.
4. Click Accept Seat on the portal — this step is mandatory before fee payment proceeds.
5. Pay the first instalment of INR 2,90,000 through the portal payment gateway by July 4, 2026.
6. Upload all required documents on the portal to complete admission confirmation.
7. Pay the balance fee by July 7, 2026 to finalise full fee payment.
8. Download and save all fee payment receipts from the portal.

Your INR 10,000 waitlist deposit paid at the time of counselling registration is automatically converted to a refundable caution deposit once you complete the first instalment payment. This amount is part of your total programme fee and is not an additional charge.

What Happens If You Miss the MET 2026 Round 3 Reporting Deadline

Students who do not pay the first instalment by July 4, 2026 will have their Round 3 allotment cancelled automatically. MAHE does not provide grace periods or manually reinstate cancelled seats. Round 3 is the final round of BTech Common Counselling 2026 so a missed deadline means the allotment is permanently lost.

If you accepted a seat in Round 1 or Round 2 and received an upgraded allotment in Round 3, accepting the Round 3 seat releases your earlier allotment. Not paying the first instalment after accepting the Round 3 seat will leave you without any allotment. Contact the MAHE helpdesk through the official portal without delay if you encounter a payment error before July 4.
