Being the Principal of RKDF Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology University, what are your roles and responsibilities towards the students? 

My roles and responsibilities are to look after the operations, admissions, examinations, education, events, Infrastructure activities related to the development of the college as well as various activities that help the students to experience and have the best education possible.

What are the challenges you faced/ are facing to uplift the quality of education of your department?

One of the primary challenges is the disparity between students' theoretical understanding and practical application in the industry. Bridging this gap requires offering comprehensive practical experiences alongside theoretical learning to better prepare them for their future endeavors.

How do you help your student to cope up with the competition being so high in the outside world?

To enhance our students' competitiveness in the professional arena, we facilitate industrial training by arranging industrial visits during their third year and job training during their fourth year. This equips students with the necessary skills to excel in the industry and emerge as highly qualified candidates.

How do you tend to establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?

I cultivate strong bonds with both faculty members and students, considering them an integral part of our extended family. In times of need, I actively engage with them, demonstrating empathy by standing by their side and providing support tailored to their specific circumstances. By offering guidance during challenging periods, I contribute to their personal and professional development. Together, we operate as a cohesive team, ensuring that we possess the collective capacity to effectively navigate and address any challenges that may arise.

Do you have any extracurricular activities/ programs to enhance the skills of the students or expose them to real world challenges?

Certainly, we offer extracurricular activities to our students through a variety of avenues including seminars, cultural events, and sports activities. These initiatives not only boost students' confidence and skills alongside their academic pursuits but also provide valuable learning experiences that can contribute to their future success as individuals.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

Yes, as the principal of Bhabha University Bhopal I would like to give valuable advice to our aspiring students to keep their knowledge up to date as per the changing technology & make every effort to gain as much as theoretical & practical knowledge so that they remain into the competition & excel in their career.
