Hyderabad, January 14, 2019: GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad B.Tech. 3rd year CSE student Shivali Johri Srivastava, her parents Kavita Johri Srivastava and Anil Srivastava, hope to break a new record for the world’s largest display of Origami Citrus Fruits inflated lemons. Their sixth attempt is being adjudicated by Guinness World Records soon.
They have displayed 6,132 Origami Citrus Fruits inflated lemons, which were made by yellow origami paper. The technique they have used is spinning origami lemon that can inflate. This record was authorized by independent judges after personal witness and with through counting.
Earlier, Shivali secured five Guinness World Records for the largest display of 1,251 different handmade paper dolls, 7,011 uniquely quilled flowers, 2,111 handmade paper quilled dolls, 3,501 origami whales and 2,100 origami penguins.
GITAM Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. N. Siva Prasad, School of Technology Principal Prof. Ch. Sanjay, School of Pharmacy Principal Dr. G.S. Kumar, School of Architecture Director Prof. Sunil Kumar, Dr. P. Trinatha Rao, Dr. Ravi Kumar, HoDs, Faculty and students wished her to secure sixth Guinness record also.
