Sharda University BTech CSE admission uses SUAT with faculty interaction or an eligible JEE Main rank. MBA applicants qualify through SUAT or the accepted MAT, CAT or XAT scores, followed by group discussion and interview. These are the latest rules for 2026-27; the 2027-28 schedule is awaited.

Late in the 2026-27 cycle, Sharda stopped SUAT slot booking and accepted applications against vacant seats using eligibility. That late-cycle arrangement does not set the process for a new 2027 intake.

A 2026 scholarship window was separate from the application deadline. Vacant-seat admissions continued later, so neither event gives a sound closing-date estimate for 2027 BTech or MBA.

Sharda Eligibility for Common Courses

BTech CSE requires both minimum Class 10 marks and the specified Class 12 aggregate. MBA applicants using national tests must meet the relevant percentile requirement.

Selected course requirements in the current university information
Course Academic requirement Selection detail
BTech Computer Science and Engineering At least 60% in Class 10 and 60% in Class 12; the Class 12 aggregate uses Physics, Mathematics, English and the two highest remaining subjects SUAT and faculty interaction, or JEE Main All India Rank up to 3 lakh
BCA At least 55% in Class 12 in the 2026 fee booklet Confirm the 2027 test or interview condition in the course form
MBA Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% and English communication proficiency SUAT, MAT at 75 percentile or above, or CAT/XAT at 65 percentile or above; group discussion and interview

Meeting an MBA exam percentile only makes an applicant eligible for the next stage. Sharda still conducts its stated group discussion and interview before deciding admission.

SUAT, National Entrance Exams and Selection

SUAT in the regular 2026 process was a 90-minute test with no negative marking and a 35% qualifying requirement. Successful applicants attended an interview, with a group discussion for MBA. Students awaiting final results could take SUAT, but had to meet the course eligibility before admission.

The CSE course accepts a JEE Main rank up to 3 lakh in place of SUAT and faculty interaction. MBA accepts MAT, CAT and XAT under its course-specific percentile rules. The late 2026 vacant-seat notice stopped further SUAT slot booking for that cycle only.

How to Apply for Sharda Admission

  1. Open sharda.ac.in/apply when the 2027–28 application becomes available and choose the exact Greater Noida programme and specialisation.
  2. Fill in basic and academic details. Confirm the selected programme; the system generates an ID used through the application process.
  3. Pay the application fee shown in the new form and keep the application number sent to the registered email ID and mobile number.
  4. If the programme requires SUAT, follow the test instruction in the active application. Enter a qualifying national entrance score where the course accepts one.
  5. Attend any required faculty interaction, personal interview or MBA group discussion. Check the decision and payment instructions in the application account.

The application fee needs confirmation in the active form. The available 2026 fees differ between ₹1,200 and ₹1,500. This payment is separate from the programme admission charge.

Documents and Admission Confirmation

The 2026 test instructions ask SUAT candidates to bring a hall ticket with a photograph, original photo ID and payment proof to the exam centre. After selection, the university checks the academic records and any accepted entrance score. A student awaiting final results must provide the marks that meet the course condition before admission is confirmed.

Applicants claiming a category or other concession must provide the relevant proof. Selected students pay the tuition and separate admission charge by the deadline in their offer.

Medical and Other Separate Admissions

MBBS and MD/MS require NEET qualification and allotment through Uttar Pradesh medical counselling. PhD and some allied-health programmes also have separate selection rules.
