How to Check RGU Result 2026?

The Controller of Examinations signs each notification. The university's Computer Centre then uploads it to the website. Students follow these steps to find their result.

  1. Open the RGU exam results page at rgu.ac.in/exam-results.
  2. Filter the list by Result Type (UG or PG), Faculty and Department.
  3. Find the notification that names the course, semester and exam month.
  4. Open the PDF and search for the roll number.
  5. Read the Result and Remarks columns against the roll number.
  6. Save the PDF for later reference.

Example: A BA-LLB IV Semester student opens the August 14, 2026 notice. The student then looks up the roll number under the BA-LLB IV Semester block.

Older notices move to later pages of the list. Students who cannot find a course should check pages 2 to 5.

What the RGU Result Notification Shows?

An RGU result PDF is a list, not an individual marksheet. Each course and semester gets its own block inside the PDF. The columns usually include:

  • Serial number and roll number
  • Name of the candidate
  • Semester result, and for final semesters, the final result
  • Position, for rank holders in final semester lists
  • Remarks, which may list paper codes against a candidate

The common result entries are PASS, FAIL, Withheld, Absent and Incomplete. Each result stays open to correction if an error turns up later. The detailed marks appear on the mark sheet or grade card, not in this list.

Note: RGU also issues separate rank-holder notices, such as the Top Ten list for BA-LLB and LLB dated September 1, 2026.

RGU Result Withheld or Roll Number Missing: What to Check?

A missing or withheld result is the most common problem students raise. The fix depends on the cause.

Problem Likely Reason What the Student Does
Roll number not in the PDF Wrong semester block or wrong notice Check the semester heading and exam month again
Result marked Withheld A pending issue with the student record Contact the department or college office
Course not listed yet The result is still under processing Check the exam results page again in a few days
Distance mode result missing CDOE results sit on a different page Open cdoe.rgu.ac.in/results

Withheld results are cleared later through fresh notices. Example: RGU released withheld IUGS results for BA, B.Sc, BFA and BPA on August 3, 2026.

RGU Rechecking Result 2026

RGU publishes re-checked results as separate notifications on the same page. Two have come out this cycle, on August 4, 2026 and September 25, 2026.

The rechecking list shows the roll number, the college and a one-word outcome. The outcome reads either "Changed" or "No change". A "Changed" entry means the result was revised after rechecking.

Example: The September 25 notice covers BA-LLB II, IV and VI Semester students. Most entries read "No change", while a few read "Changed".

RGU Result 2026 FAQs

Ques. Is RGU Result 2026 out for BA-LLB?

Ans. Yes. Rajiv Gandhi University has released BA-LLB results for various semesters and examinations in 2026. The BA-LLB even-semester results were released on August 14, 2026, while re-checked/revised results were subsequently published on September 25, 2026. Students can check the applicable result notice and verify their result using their roll number.

Ques. How can I check RGU Result 2026?

Ans. Students can check their Rajiv Gandhi University Result 2026 through the official RGU examination results section. RGU publishes results through course- and examination-specific result notices. Students should select the relevant result, open the PDF and search for their roll number or examination details to check their result status.

Ques. Does RGU require a login to check the result?

Ans. Generally, students do not need to log in to view the result notices published by Rajiv Gandhi University. Most RGU results are available as PDF result notices, which students can open directly from the university's examination/results section. The roll number can then be used to locate the student's result in the PDF.

Ques. Where can MBBS students check RGU MBBS Result 2026?

Ans. RGU MBBS students can check their results through the university's official examination result section. MBBS results are released separately according to the examination phase, part and semester. For example, the MBBS Phase III Part I result was released on September 2, 2026. Students should check the relevant MBBS result notice before downloading the PDF.

Ques. Is the RGU Result 2026 PDF the same as the official marksheet?

Ans. No. The online result PDF is primarily a result declaration document and should not be treated as a substitute for the original marksheet or grade card. Students should obtain the official marksheet issued by Rajiv Gandhi University or the concerned college/institution for detailed marks, grades and other academic records.

Ques. Are RGU IUGS results released together for all subjects?

Ans. No. Rajiv Gandhi University may release IUGS results separately for different courses, subjects, semesters or examination groups. For instance, on July 28, 2026, separate result notices were issued for programmes including BA and B.Sc Geology, BFA and BPA. Therefore, students should check the complete list of RGU result notices rather than looking for one combined IUGS result PDF.

Ques. What details are required to check RGU Result 2026?

Ans. Students should keep their roll number, examination name, course, semester and other basic examination details ready. Since RGU often publishes results in PDF format, the roll number is particularly useful for quickly locating a student's result within the relevant result notice.

Ques. What should I do if my roll number is not available in the RGU result PDF?

Ans. First, make sure that you have opened the correct course, semester and examination result. RGU releases separate notices for different examinations, so a student's roll number may not appear in another course or semester's PDF. If the correct notice has been checked and the roll number is still missing, students should contact their college or the concerned RGU examination authority for clarification.

Ques. When will RGU odd semester results 2026 be released?

Ans. RGU odd-semester results are generally released after the corresponding examinations are conducted and the evaluation process is completed. For examinations held toward the end of 2026, results may extend into early 2027. However, the exact release date depends on the course, semester and evaluation schedule, so students should rely on the official RGU notification rather than an expected date.

Ques. Does RGU publish toppers or rank holders along with the result?

Ans. RGU may publish separate merit, position or Top Ten lists for certain programmes or final-semester examinations. Some postgraduate final-semester result lists include a Position column showing the rank of eligible students. In addition, the university may issue separate Top Ten or merit-related notices for particular courses. These lists should not be confused with the regular semester result PDF.

Ques. Can students apply for revaluation or rechecking after RGU Result 2026?

Ans. Students who are dissatisfied with their result may be able to apply for rechecking, revaluation or scrutiny, depending on the rules applicable to their course and examination. The university may issue a separate notification specifying the application process, deadline and applicable fee. Students should check the latest RGU examination notice before submitting an application.

Ques. Does RGU release revised or rechecked results?

Ans. Yes. RGU may publish revised or rechecked results after processing applications submitted by eligible students. Such results can appear as separate result notices after the original result declaration. For example, BA-LLB re-checked results were published on September 25, 2026. Students who applied for rechecking should therefore check subsequent result updates as well.

Ques. Where can I get the latest RGU Result 2026 updates?

Ans. Students should regularly check the official Rajiv Gandhi University website and examination/result notices for the latest updates. Since results are released separately for different courses and examinations, students should verify the date and title of the result notice before downloading or checking their result.
