How to Check Palamuru University Result 2026?

The steps are the same for every course. Only the result link changes.

  1. Open the Results List on the Examination Branch website.
  2. Find the row matching the course, semester and exam month.
  3. Click View next to that row.
  4. Enter the hall ticket number, for example 17044126457001.
  5. Choose the correct option in the Year/Sem drop-down.
  6. Submit, then print or save the marks page.

Palamuru University Grading System and SGPA Calculation

The PG regulations for 2025-26 use seven grade letters. Each letter maps to a range of marks and grade points.

How SGPA and CGPA Are Worked Out?

Credit points for a paper equal credits times grade point. SGPA is total credit points divided by total credits in that semester. CGPA uses the same method across all four semesters.

Example: A student earns 154 credit points from 22 credits in Semester 1. The SGPA is 154 divided by 22, which is 7.0.

SGPA appears only when every paper is passed with an E or higher. So a single F grade leaves the SGPA blank.

How to Apply for Revaluation and Recounting After the Result?

The Controller of Examinations issues a revaluation notice after each result. Students then apply through their own college, not directly to the university.

  1. Download the form from the notifications page.
  2. Fill in the hall ticket number, papers, memo number and result date.
  3. Pay Rs. 300 per paper and note the payment reference.
  4. Hand the form to the college Principal before the student deadline.
  5. The Principal sends all forms to the Examination Branch by the college deadline.

For PG, MBA and MCA, batches 2022 onward pay the fee online. The 2020 and 2021 batches pay through the older mode.
