Palamuru University has been established in the year 2008 as a State University for Higher Education of the regional general and of Mahbubnagar district in particular. Palamuru University was started functioning from the academic year 2008-2009 with the then Postgraduate College of Osmania University as the nucleus, where the five PG courses were being offered.

Palamuru Admission Process 2024
In order to get admission in PG course, a candidate needs to follow the steps given below:
- Download and fill in the application form given on the college website.
- Candidate needs to fill the application form in his/her own handwriting properly.
- Important documents should be attested along with the application form as per the guidelines.
- Candidates have to pay application fee of INR 700 DD drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of
“The Registrar, Palamuru University” and payable at SBH,
Raichur Road branch, Mahbubnagar.
Key Note: Without DD the application is liable for rejection.
