- The Mental Health Counseling 60-credit program integrates behavioral science studies with the acquisition of practical counseling skills in supervised settings.
- Students will Learn how to facilitate personal growth and development by focusing on client strengths and by using therapeutic methods that prevent and remediate individual and interpersonal conflict.
- Students will gain confidence working with clients through supervised or monitored counseling sessions. Fieldwork improves their cultural competence and strengthens their professional skills as a therapist.
- The main objective is to produce graduates who have the basic requisite counseling knowledge and skills for entry into the practice of professional counseling, including the awareness and skills necessary to think and act in a professional, ethical, and culturally sensitive manner.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must hold a bachelor’s degree from a college or university of recognized standing.
- Students must achieve and maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.
- The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or GMAT results are required.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Students should submit required official and complete individual mark skeets for each examination attempt, including subsidiary exams.
- Photocopies of student's mark sheets are accepted only when they are attested by the University Registrar or Controller of Examinations and placed in a sealed, stamped envelope that is sent directly to the Graduate School.
