  • The coursework was a mix of both theory and practical. The positive aspect was that it was not much difficult and the negative aspect was that it had a lot of competition.
  • The classes and timings depend on the professor you choose and the campus. 3 classes were conducted per week and how many days in a week depends on us.
  • 30 students per class
  • 90% of students were Indians in my coursework.

Fees

  • The college has credit-based fees
  • My tuition fees for 2 years were $32,000.
  • I paid for cengage books during my coursework: $125 + $100.
  • I think I paid a $325 deposit to confirm my seat after accepting my offer.
  • Once you receive your I-20 then there are expenses related to visa processing.
  • Accommodation depends on the place you choose.
  • I lived off campus close to college
    • Rent: $400-$500 per month
    • Transportation: the college provides a student bus pass for $40 per semester (occasionally free) for public transport outside campus. College shuttles are free
  • Groceries would be : $150-300 depending on the what you want per month
  • Total estimate would be $800-$1000 if you were to be a bit lavish!

  • Academics, we need to select our subjects and professors prior to the start of the semester. Attendance is counted and we should not fall below x percentage; else we will be debarred from the exams. Professors are strict on these. Lectures would be mostly PPT, and they don't deep dive into things. They touch them and we need to learn.
  • Exams are tough; they ask in-depth questions, and some of the programming questions might be a little difficult. Classes have interactive learning, like professors won't just be speaking; they want us to be involved, and there is a grade for that too. Professors also take real-world situations to discuss and give us realistic problems.

Fees

  • Per credit hour, it is $1092. Usually, for each course, we get 3 credit hours, which is 3*1092=3276
  • I stayed off campus and usually it costs around 500 usd for room and all others might be around 400 .
  • We are charged per semester.
  • Monthly expenses might be around 900 usd . Connecticut has good bus transportation and the university provides a per-semester bus pass, which is only 40 USD.

The course curriculum is good. My program, Masters of Science in Business Analytics, has 30 credits, which means 10 courses. It includes 7 core courses and 3 electives. Core courses include courses like BA, Data Visualization, Database Management System, Business Forecasting, and Operations management. 3 elective courses can be selected from the Supply chain, Marketing or General departments. Overall, I can say that the curriculum is diverse.

Fees

For this university, I feel 100$ - 1100$ per credit is not fair. And the scholarship allotment is so stupid. I took a loan from DCCB ( collateral loan), and the bank disburses a certain amount at the start of each semester for my fees and expenses. Mostly, I used to manage with that.

My course has 30 Credits and I got one pre-requisite. The subjects are very much related to the industry and professors are experts in their are of teaching within the industry. The faculty-student ratio not so sure about it Exams are pretty much pointless and professors here know that instead give projects one is graded on its basis again this depends on your professor.

Fees

The Payment options are flexible you can either opt for a One-time Payment or choose to pay in 5 interest-free instalments with just 1 $50 service charge for availing the instalments. Other academic expenses include E-books which are pretty much under $100
