- The MLA program prepares students from diverse educational and professional backgrounds for the practice of landscape architecture through engagement in applied scholarship with an emphasis on sustainable design strategies.
- Students are prepared for entry-level practice through involvement in a variety of project types and scales including community and campus master plans, urban park systems, plazas, green streets, industrial restoration, habitat creation, neighborhood design, and more.
- In the MLA, students will learn:

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the University of Arizona.
- A grade point average of 3.0 or higher is required.
- Those applicants who possess a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or a closely related professional field may apply for advanced standing.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
