- Culture is too good and faculty are helpful.
Dislikes
- The city is far away from all the major cities.
Campus Life
There are 3 libraries on the campus. And some of the largest collections of books in the country. There are a lot of clubs which you can take part in. There are gyms, pools and all sports courts where you can engage in activities.
Accommodation
Apartments.com is the best place to find apartments anywhere in the US. You can find cheap places all over Tallahassee if you’re willing to share the apartment with other people. And it is pretty safe here.
Campus Life
Everything is the best. Campus is very big with good amenities. Every month there are various events and extracurricular activities.
Accommodation
On average, the living expenses come out to be around 800$. Rent - approx. 500$, utilities and food - approx. 300$ (if you are not sharing) otherwise manageable in 500$ for everything if sharing

- I was meeting the criteria that was set. The university was offering just the course I needed. The weather and the campus is great. University has got a good name. I had a good resume and sop, that got me into this university.
- Florida State University at Tallahassee is one of the top 20 public state University in USA. It has got a very beautiful and huge campus with all the amenities you can imagine, like, couple of big gyms, stadiums for every other sport, health and wellness center, gaming and cinema.
- Here the professors are of a very high profile, many of them are always doing some research. The pedigree of the college is just as important as the degree, so choosing and getting into this university is a win. There are many departments to enroll into, so you study what you really want.
Dislikes
- I do not dislike anything particularly. The university is huge so you may have to walk a lot but that won't bother you it's just that beautiful. You can use electric scooters, bikes to travel in and around campus.
Campus Life
Campus has got a lakefront park, gyms, stadiums for every sport, good labs, decent libraries that also provide laptops for semester for free.
Accommodation
I live at 2 mile distance from campus. Rent is 510$ for. 4*4 called Seminole grand. It has got swimming pool and a gym. It is pretty decent. There is roaches issues with every other apartment, other than that it's good. There are also other options to choose from like social seminole, aspen.

- As it is a State university and Part-time are easily available, Course Curriculum is great, Cost of Living is less compared to other places.
- The Course Curriculum is very good, finding Part-Time Job opportunities is easy, and the Cost of Living is less we can't find a 4*2 apartment for 400 dollars.
- Transport facilities are provided by universities compared to other places. Assistantships and scholarships are available. If we get a scholarship 90 % of the fee is waived.
Dislikes
- Some Core Subjects are Tough we need to keep a lot of effort into them. There is no Flexibility in doing courses online.
- University does not allow Day 1 CPT. Less Indian Community compared to other universities. Need to relocate for finding Technical jobs.
Campus Life
The campus has full WIFI services and we have frequent matches going on in the college. students get free tickets. We have various events conducted in every semester.
Accommodation
I live in a 4 bed 2 bath apartment with 3 other roommates it costs me around 410 $ per month. The rooms are spacious. There are also shared rooms if you want to share with anyone. We get a room for 200$ Per Month depending on your preference.
Accommodation
I'm paying $450 for the room that I'm staying near my university.
I just love the curriculum and the opportunities in the university.
Accommodation
On campus housing is about the same cost as off campus when considering the total cost of rent and utilities, but it is much more convenient for students without a means of transportation. The bus system for nearby apartments is very reliable to and from campus, but traveling beyond the small nexus of campus is difficult if you cannot drive. However, the campus life is very active and walkable.
The school is very cost-effective, and they accepted the credits I already earned. The World War 2 institute at FSU is one of the largest and most interesting collections held on any campus, and given the actual ties the city has to this era, it provides a greater environment for learning about the subject matter.
Accommodation
I have lived off-campus the two years I have been here. The first year I lived in an off-campus dorm and the second year I lived in an off-campus apartment that is close to campus and walking distance.
Florida state university has an amazing business school. I am double majoring in management and sales and I believe I have learned so much through Florida states business school. The majority of students graduating from the business school also have countless job offers.
Accommodation
I lived in a dorm for two years and off-campus for three. The first dorm was suite-style, but the second was apartment style. There are plenty of cheap apartments off-campus that are within walking distance.
Location, scholarship, research, and everyone was very nice when I visited. I felt at home, and the campus was beautiful. I also wanted to go to a large school. I wanted to participate in Greek life, which is very large at FSU.
I am a legacy here and it offers a fantastic psychology and hospitality program which helps me to truly learn and study what I would like to do with my life. FSU has given me opportunity after opportunity to grow and change and ready myself for my future.
Good programs, staff, and it was the college that would take me. I am homeless and wanted to give my kids the best future I could. The professors are great and they do what they can to help you and very flexible scheduling.
