Job experience is a plus and good academics can get you an admission easily in the university. A good SOP with a good professional LOR will be helpful
Admission Experience
The US is one of those countries where there is no shortage of jobs, and they recruit people all the time. And there is a lot of scope to grow as a professional. And the salary here is a bonus. There are a lot of roles in the IT industry.
Class Schedule
There are usually 6 classes in a week if you have 3 subjects and if the subjects are less there will be fewer classes. The load is pretty much low most of the time except for some classes. There is a lot of time for you to get your assignments done.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is one of the best in the country cause there are fewer international students in the university when compared to other top universities. Some of the faculties do help you in getting part-time.
Campus Life
There are 3 libraries on the campus. And some of the largest collections of books in the country. There are a lot of clubs which you can take part in. There are gyms, pools and all sports courts where you can engage in activities.
Part Time Jobs
The Indian students get paid $13 an hour typically in the finding halls of the campus. It is pretty easy to get a part-time in campus. You can apply online through some campus portals like Aramark.
The pay for assistants is $24 per hour and getting them in depends on the branch you choose. Every school has a different process to get them. Some of them choose TA’s directly and some of them approach professors for the jobs.
Placement
State jobs are pretty easy to get as the campus is located in the capital city of Florida. And students pretty much use LinkedIn and they even network to obtain jobs. The lowest salary offered is 50k as far as I know.
Accommodation
Apartments.com is the best place to find apartments anywhere in the US. You can find cheap places all over Tallahassee if you’re willing to share the apartment with other people. And it is pretty safe here.
