Likes
- As it is a State university and Part-time are easily available, Course Curriculum is great, Cost of Living is less compared to other places.
- The Course Curriculum is very good, finding Part-Time Job opportunities is easy, and the Cost of Living is less we can't find a 4*2 apartment for 400 dollars.
- Transport facilities are provided by universities compared to other places. Assistantships and scholarships are available. If we get a scholarship 90 % of the fee is waived.
Dislikes
- Some Core Subjects are Tough we need to keep a lot of effort into them. There is no Flexibility in doing courses online.
- University does not allow Day 1 CPT. Less Indian Community compared to other universities. Need to relocate for finding Technical jobs.
Required Exams for Admission
The university is great and the climate in Florida is almost equivalence to the climate in India.
Course Curriculum
The course is up to date with the present technology but the core subject are tough in Computer Science and we need to choose universities according and take decision.
Faculty
The faculty and student ratio is 1:60 i.e. for one faculty we have around 60 students. Every student has one advisor who helps them throughout their master's course.
Campus Life
The campus has full WIFI services and we have frequent matches going on in the college. students get free tickets. We have various events conducted in every semester.
Placement
There are on Campus placement opportunities too but most of them will not sponsor H1B. There are many On campus Drives that happen during the start of semester as I mentioned if your looking for future sponsorship they are not willing to hire.
Accommodation
I live in a 4 bed 2 bath apartment with 3 other roommates it costs me around 410 $ per month. The rooms are spacious. There are also shared rooms if you want to share with anyone. We get a room for 200$ Per Month depending on your preference.
Exams
I have given only my IELTS Score My score is 7.0/9.0. GRE has been waived for my university during Covid time. SOPs, LORs, Resume, Transcripts, IELTS , Reference letters, Under Graduate Certificate were required. I didn't have any interview.
Fees
10000$ per semester if we take 3 subject in that semester. Around 33000$ for the complete course. If we get any assistantships 90% of the fee is waived.
