Master of Laws [L.L.M] [Laws in American Legal Studies] From Seattle University

Academic Eligibility:

• International students must have a high degree of proficiency in spoken and written English.  At a minimum, applicants whose native language is not English and who did not obtain a bachelor’s degree at a U.S. university or college must have achieved the minimum required scores of TOEFL or IELTS.
• To be eligible for admission to the LLM program, candidates must hold a JD degree or foreign equivalent.
• Official transcripts from all academic institutions where you have studied law. American students do not need to send undergraduate transcripts. A certified translation must be attached if the transcript is not in English.
• If English is not your first language, an official TOEFL score report must be sent directly from ETC. TOEFL is waived for students whose first language is English, who attended an educational institution in which English was the primary language of instruction, or who worked in an English-speaking environment for one year or more.

• The Law School Admission Test (LSAT)  is not required.
