Bachelor of Arts [B.A] [Comparative Literature] From University of Delaware

The Comparative Literature Program provides students the opportunity to design a course of study allowing specialization in two or more literature. Traditionally, the student chooses one major literature, then studies one or more other literature that have greatly influenced the major.

For example, the student might choose English literature of the nineteenth century as his primary focus, then take courses in German and/or French literature of the same period to discover mutual themes and influences. Or the student might choose Latin American literature of the twentieth century and enrich his appreciation by taking courses in North American and French literature of the same period.
