Academic Qualification

• Degree Requirement: Equivalent of a bachelor’s degree at the University of Delaware.
• Grade Point Average: Minimum GPA of 3.2 in the major field of study and 3.0 cumulative index.
• Mathematics and Programming: Competence Scholarly competence in mathematics and computer programming, including:
  • Structured high-level language programming.
  • Data structures.
  • Computer architecture.
  • Operating systems.
  • Analysis of algorithms
• Four undergraduate courses in:
  • Calculus.
  • Discrete mathematics.
  • Probability and statistics.
  • Mathematical logic.
  • Theory of Computation.
• GRE Scores: Minimum GRE scores, Verbal: 153, Quantitative: 155, Analytical Writing: 4.0 (GRE subject test is not required).
• Graduate-Level Coursework: Minimum grade of 3.0 (B) in any graduate-level computer science courses taken beyond the bachelor’s degree.
