- The university everything that a student looks for; like student activity center, central library 24x7, four dining areas and great professors.
Campus Life
- There are many blocks dedicated to various departments and an activity center where we have all indoor and outdoor games with gyms, swimming pools, hot tub and all.
Accommodation
- We have a few whatsapp groups that help students with the accommodations. $300-$600 for single/double sharing. Trash, lawn mowing, water included.

- 4 different tracks
- Can choose which ever track we want
- 2 electives from other tracks
Dislikes
- Part times are available but it takes at least 6 months after you apply to get them.
- Other colleges have only 10 courses but here we should do 12 courses
- Mandatory subjects are more than track subjects.
Campus Life
- There are many events going on. There is an Indian student association where all the Indian festivals are celebrated. All the faculty also join it and there are pretty good.
- There are some events like dj nights and desi nights that are also celebrated from time to time for all the international students. Different clubs are available for interested students to join and participate from time to time.
Accommodation
- I live off campus. it is just walkable to the college main building where the classes are taken. I live in Douglas street and I highly recommend this.
- I found a senior who came in fall 2023 through telegram who helped me in finding this accommodation. There are many seniors in all the telegram groups. They will help us with any doubts that we have.

Campus Life
- 2 campus one at Mount Pleasant, which is the main campus and one small campus at Detroit.
- Gym, Swimming Pool, Badminton court, Sauna, Gaming Center among others.
- Main Stage event, Indian Night, Diwali Night.
- There are around 150 RSO ( Registered Student Organisation's ) you could join, according to your interests.
- Some of the examples are: Project Management Chapter, Formula 1 SAE and even a Taylor Swift Club.
Accommodation
- Online platforms and help from seniors. There are whatsapp groups and an Indian students association to help you get going.
- Monthly rent would be 400usd which includes a room and an attached wash. Utilities like electricity, gas etc are not included in the rent.
- Accommodation is just 5 mins away from the university and that is walking time. It’s very close.

Campus Life
- We have many campuses, like Grey Hall, Woldt Hall, the music building, the student activity centre and many more. We can't name each and every building as we have many to see.
- We have a very big library where 1000 students can occupy and study and we also have SAC where students play and work out. The campus festivals are Freshers Day, Diwali Night, Farewell, and Graduation Day.
Accommodation
- Accommodation is super here. Its fabulous. We have well-maintained kitchens, bathrooms, and rooms. To find accommodation we have different websites and also university dorms, which are quite expensive but are very good and fabulous.
- We can expect to pay about $200 for each semester, excluding food. Monthly rent can reach up to 450$. Facilities are like kitchens and bathrooms.
- We have dining places separate where we can order food and eat. Especially students in hostels can use them with flex points, which can be bought while paying the hostel fees.

- The atmosphere around the college is the best and faculty are giving valuable insights which will help to grow in my career.
- Extracurricular activities and student clubs are the best in our university to spend free time and our university organizes career fares which will help us in many ways.
- The assignments are also very interesting and very exciting to learn new things and innovative ideas in Information systems.
Dislikes
- It is far away from the city. It is 150 miles away from the city. Small town with less resources.
- Transportation problem
- Winters in Mount Pleasant are the worst we can't travel anywhere and we will have classes in the winter too with snow falling in winters
Campus Life
The student clubs are the best to have fun and to get to know about different people with different cultures. The university is also offering a student activity center with a sports area, gym, esports gaming area, and swimming pool.
Accommodation
We have many houses in Mount pleasant the approximate cost for one person in our area is 300 dollars per month.

Dislikes
- Hard to get a placement after graduation it can be helpful if they have any placement offered on campus that would be helpful for freshers where all the industries are not ready to hire a fresher.
Campus Life
My faculty in the department was very supportive and helpful; they always supported me when I submitted assignments, they corrected and they always gave a second chance because I'm a beginner.
Accommodation
Accommodation is available on campus, but I would rather prefer off-campus. We have a lot of options just behind campus.

- The program i want to specialize is Business data analytics. I liked how structured the syllabus is here and other reason is this university offers dual specialization. Besides, it is affordable university with good exposure for opportunities and Knowledge.
- To be honest, I like everything in this college especially how peaceful the campus and Mount pleasant place is. The classes of my program are very flexible and knowledgeable . Professors are always available through email and teams to clear your doubts regarding anything. Housing available for international students is also very affordable. There are plenty of opportunities for students on campus like SAP here in this college is very good.
Dislikes
- Transportation in the campus is not very good ,it is somewhat hard for people who don't have own transport. This mean students should walk long distance and which is trouble. Other than this, everything here is perfect.
Campus Life
CMU hosts a wide range of events throughout the year, including cultural festivals, guest lectures, academic conferences, music concerts, theater performances, and art exhibitions. CMU has a robust athletic program and competes in NCAA Division I sports. The university's teams, known as the Chippewas, participate in a range of sports, including football, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, and more. Students can support their teams by attending games, and there are opportunities for those interested in intramural and club sports as well.
Accommodation
The accommodation for international students is feasible. But if you got admission make sure to come before 20 days to your start data so it will be helpful.
Campus Life
Campus life is good with a lot of dynamic clubs which have a lot of intercultural diversity and help us grasp different cultures alike. The library is indeed the grandest bit of the whole college and very rich in options for studying well
Accommodation
I had stayed on campus for the first year paying about $500 per month for housing. For the second year, I stayed off-campus. Primary criteria are bug-free house on first floor or higher, and proximity to campus
