- MSc in Engineering - Computer Networking at the University of California Los Angeles is a 2 years program.
- It is an online program offered on a full-time basis.
- The MSc in Engineering degree is the most flexible of the engineering degrees, allowing students to focus on a specific major to build a multidisciplinary program of study that best fits their professional needs and goals.
- In this program, students have to complete at least 9 courses (36 units), of which at least 5 must be graduate courses at the 200 level and a Capstone project.
- Students have to attend online office hours and meetings via zoom video conferencing.
- Students get the opportunity to do additional certificates of specializations in:

- Systems Engineering
- Students have to view lecture slides via the Echo360 website or app and upload their homework electronically.
- Students are expected to complete the degree within 9 academic quarters, or 7 academic quarters and 2 summer terms.
- The maximum time allowed in this program is 10 academic quarters (excluding summer terms).
- The courses offered on the quarter system (the duration of one course is 10 weeks) and all materials (including video lectures) remain available for the duration of the course.
- The examination may be taken at UCLA or with an approved off-campus proctor (selected by the student).

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must complete a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or related field from a recognized institution.
- The related fields include a UG degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or the equivalent field.
- A GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 is required in the last two years of undergraduate coursework.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Submission of GRE scores is compulsory for this program and it is recommended to submit the scores from tests taken within the last 5 years for a better chance of admission.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
