  • Accommodation in Flagstaff is very costly. A 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom flat costs around $2500/month, including current and water bills.
  • Finding accommodation is not so tough; as soon as you get your admission, the college will add you to a WhatsApp group where students will be posting about available accommodation; then you can reach out to them to discuss further, or you just visit apartments.com to take a new flat.

  • The difficulty level is average if anyone knows to do coding. The CS course will be very good and you will learn many things. If they don't know coding, they can take IT and business analytics.
  • The classes will usually be from morning 8am to evening 5pm. We will have a maximum of 2 classes per day, which is around 1 hour per class.
  • The average number of students is around 30–50.
  • There are around 250 students coming from India every semester.

Fees

  • Tuition would be $13,000 per semester. If we get a $5,000 international excellence award. For 3 credits, it would cost $3500. We need to pay it semester-wise.
  • The monthly expense depends on us. It will be around $500 to $1,000 for overall expenses.
  • For rent, it will be $400 per month if we are staying off campus and if we stay on campus it will be 1,000. For groceries, 100$. Remaining things depends on us how much we spend for other things.

Finding a place to stay near campus that is on a budget is hard. I didn’t like sharing my room, so I wanted a private space. I used Facebook groups like Flagstaff Housing and NAU housing on/off campus to find housing off campus because it was cheaper and bigger size apartments than campus dorms.

There are a lot of research opportunities in this university. They make you take research credits with professor's and gain research experience first hand. The curriculum is set to be difficult as it forces you to learn new things. This is what we came to learn and we get our money's worth. They have major projects in each class which focuses on finding a solution to a problem. This introduces us to real world applications. Through my research I was given the opportunity to work with Intel for 2 years and I received an internship with them as well.

Fees

$20000 per year, but since I received a GRA, I didn't have to pay after my first semester. Also, to note, every semester, the fees change a little. It is not a constant number. The prices change based on the courses you pick and the number of credits you take.

The course curriculum was my favorite part of this university. I was given a large choice of classes and I was able to cater my choices to my major emphasis. For example, I focused on Human Resources and took classes that concentrated on the business side of psychology. There were also several elective options that were incredibly fun.

Fees

Since it was an in-state school, I paid $24,000 a year for tuition, room, and board and other miscellaneous fees. I was able to afford college by becoming an RA to get my room and board paid for. I did have to take out a few personal loans through Sallie Mae but also received a scholarship (President's scholarship, $6,000) that was awarded for my GPA.
