It is very much related and needed for type of research I am doing. They let you go for internships if you want to so that works well here

  • "If I had to mention one thing, it's the weather. Not to blame the university for this, but it gets extremely cold in winters and the weather persists like that for around 5 months. Another thing that I would improve about MSU is campus security. I encountered a shooting event in the very second month. That event got me terrified for a week!" .

The program that I'm currently in is a 12 month program that starts in January and ends in December of every year. Given the fast-paced nature of this course most of the curriculum is tightly packed with assignments and projects and that keeps you on your feet all the time. Starting in the spring semester there are three courses followed by the summer semester which has a mandatory internship and the Career Center tries to help you to get the internship however it's not very helpful. Along with the internship there are two courses that have three-week fast-paced classes in the starting of the summer and they go online over the rest of the summer. Followed by this comes the fall semester which is the last semester of the program has three, courses each of them associated with a project along with this there's a capstone project making the semester very hectic. Bottom line is this program is a good program for experienced professionals I will definitely not suggest this for freshers who just graduated from college.

Fees

Tuition is USD $39000 for the entire program.

I think the curriculum is very well designed by subject experts. Many education researches go on in the college of education which also help in deciding onto a well- balanced curriculum.

Fees

$40000 a year.

Michigan State University is pretty relaxed with courses. The good thing is that you are free to take courses from any department or college at MSU to meet the minimum credit requirement. The courses are also very well planned and include more practical aspects than just theory. The academic requirements throughout the degree program are also very well planned and not too hectic so that you can really enjoy the learning process.

Fees

For Ph.D. students, you pay $175 per semester and $1800 for each credit of courses, if not funded.

I am not an international student so I'm not sure. I do believe there are some scholarships for them though. However, my tuition was about 14k/year and I got no aid, but I did not take out any loans last year or this year for the fall semester. I did get a Livingston county Spartans scholarship, but it is a group of alums, not the school.

I knew that I wanted to go to a college in-state and an MSU was the leading college in business that really caught my eye. It was the perfect distance away from my house which was about an hour and that was great because I could easily get home if I needed to but I wasn't so close that my parents could come up any day or that I felt that I'd be going home too often. On top of that when I visited the campus it was amazing I really loved how everything was so tied in together and so large at the same time. I really felt at home and I really solidified that when I got there. I can go running or for a walk anywhere on campus and it feels like I?m just outside enjoying nature there?s a bunch of trees alongside a bunch of beautiful buildings.

The curriculum is not too hard but I wish that colleges would not make us take general education courses. It seems like it wastes time when I could be focusing on classes directed toward my major of psychology.

Fees

The fees are going to be set in a flat rate for 12-15 credits in the fall per semester but as of right now it is pay per credit. Additionally, I need to buy online resources to do attendance online with subscriptions and I need to buy other textbooks and e-books.

My courses are packed with information. I don't mind them but the university required curriculum is not always best suited for the major and or any and all majors that have to take these courses. Also, the level of these required courses vary.

Fees

The fee structure was based on credits and also supplies and materials needed for each class. Also possible online materials.

Too many credits had to be taken in none essential courses. This created a burn out feeling as well as adding up in cost. Taking a lot of courses just to fill in the number of courses needed to get diploma

Fees

I dont remember the fee structure per say. There were some fees for various clubs that were optional but some fees were mandatory and high.
