What Students Say?
Likes
- There is always some event happening in and around the college, whether academic or non-academic.
- There are numerous restaurants and sports stadiums where basketball and football matches are free for ASU students with an ID card. Additionally, Business School students enjoy a pre-game party before matches.
I received admission offer from both ASU and UTD. So in order to choose my college, I connected with some of the existing students at that time from both universities on LinkedIn. I also researched about the course curriculum, placement opportunities, faculty before finalising my college. After evaluating all these aspects, I finally chose ASU which was better in terms of almost everything.
Course Curriculum
The course syllabus is quite structured and well-explained. Regarding industrial experience, every student will have to undertake a capstone project in the final semester. This project allows students to visit an organization, understand its culture, gather data, and conduct research to complete the project.
Exams
- My scores GRE 315, IELTS 6.5 and minimum scores for ASU admission is GRE 300+ and IETLS 6.5 with each minimum of 6. - SSC - 93% (10th), Intermediate - 86% (12th) Lovely Professional University - 77% (UG) - Requirements: For ASU I have submitted 1 SOP and 1 LOR. Here SOP matters a lot for the admission. SOP should be in a way so that it should add some weight to your profile for the admission process.
Placement
Every month, a career fair is held in and around the college, featuring 30 to 40 different companies. These events provide students with valuable insights into company operations, available roles, and opportunities to submit their resumes, thereby boosting their career prospects.
Fees
My tuition fee is close to 60,000$ for Business Analytics Masters and Insurance is $2000 per year which is highly recommended.
Faculty
ASU has 1:20 faculty-to-student ratio. They are available all the day in their allocated rooms. They are just mail away.
Campus Life
ASU boasts the world-class Hayden Library, which houses an extensive collection of books and offers ample space for media rooms, printing, design, art, and more.
Hostel
80% of the students live towards the southeast side of the campus among 3 different communities. Average cost for the student is 600$ - 700$ (includes rent, bills, utilities)
