Required Exams for Admission
The best thing about this university is the location and the price. Its located in long beach in the beautiful SoCal and very close to Los Angeles. It is amazing. Really nice location, nice people and so much to explore and do. The only down side is that it is pretty expensive but atleast the weather is nice here.
Course Curriculum
The curriculum is good there are many research opportunities.
Faculty
In all my classes the average is 50:1 student to faculty ratio. The professors are well educated and know what they’re talking about and are very approachable through emails or their office hours.
Campus Life
There’s a club for everything on campus and there are programs to help students join research in the university. We have a big gym and almost a place for every sport. There are labs for everything if you’re a STEM major. Wifi is available everywhere on campus and the library is pretty huge including collaborative spaces and a lab.
Placement
There are job fairs happening almost every semester but there are no placements on campus. The median salary for a stem major is about 60000 dollars a year.
Accommodation
So the average living expense if you live in sharing can come to as low as 700-800 per month but if you want to live luxuriously there is no upper limit to it.
Exams
- TOEFL: 112/120 there were no other test required to apply just TOEFL and they mainly look at high school grades - Nothing was required I did not submit any of these including cv, sop or lor - There were no such tests or interviews
Fees
Just the tuition fees is about 80000 usd for 4 years total
