Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam Tirupati Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

SPMVV offers various PG programmes in different specializations. The minimum eligibility criteria is to pass a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized university with minimum at least 50% marks.

Note: All the programs are of 2 years’ duration except MCA, which is a 3 year program.

Selection Process

University grants admission in MBA & MCA programmes on the basis of score of Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) conducted by A.P.State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad For M.Pharm course, valid score in GPAT or PGCET is considered. For M.Sc programme, .erit is the only criteria to avail admission.

Application Process

The application can be submitted online as well as offline for the SPMVV PGCET. In order to apply online, students should follow the given steps:

1. Go to the official website of the SPMVV.
2. Click the SPMVVPGCET button.
3. Click the Registration section at the left side of the page.
4. You will be redirected to the Challan Registration Form page. Fill up all the required details.
5. After filling up the form, you will receive a One Time Password (OTP) to you registered mobile number and Email ID.
6. Enter the OTP in the box for the security code.
7. Click the Register & Proceed button.
8. Fill up the details for the following sections:
   1. Test Center
   2. SSC/X Details
   3. Special Reservation Category (If applicable)
   4. Particulars of Study
9. Select the applicable option for the following sections:
   1. Annual Income of Parents in (Rs)
   2. Result Status
   3. Whether the student has already studied any PG course
10. Upload your passport size photo and signature in the respective sections.
11. Select the I accept the Terms & Conditions checkbox.
12. Click the Click to Preview button.
13. On the preview page, check if all the entered information are correct.
    1. To edit, click the BACK – To Edit button.
    2. After editing the information, click the Click to Preview button.
14. After rechecking the entered information, click the Save & Print button.
15. An application submission receipt will be generated. Download the receipt for your future reference.
16. Click the Online Payment button, which will open the bill desk page.
17. Click the Online Payment Through Bill Desk button.
18. A new page will open. Enter the application number in the Enter App No. box.
19. Click the Proceed For Online SPMVVPGCET Bill Desk Payment button.
20. Make the payment using Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card.
21. Once the payment is successful, take the print out of the application.

Offline Mode:

1. Go to the official website of the university and download the form.
2. Fill up the required information.
3. Paste your passport size photograph.
4. Send the filled-up form with a DD of INR 455/- in the favor of Director, Directorate of Admissions, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (Women’s University), payable at Tirupati.

SPMVV offers admission in various departments such as Engineering, Science, Nursing, Management & Computer Application. Students have to appear in the Entrance examination conducted by the University to secure admission in these programmes.

SPMVV provides the facility of distance learning, which offers the flexibility of learning and drawing knowledge to the students.

SPMVV grants admission on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Final admission is direct and depend upon first serve basis.

Application Process

Provisional admission is provided to the interested candidates based on their eligibility for the particular course. The candidates need to:

1. Submit a photocopy of the required certificates for enrolment.
2. After getting enrolled, the candidates will get a registration number, which will be the reference number for all the future correspondence and communications.
3. Submit the original certificates for the verification at the time of admission. The original certificates will be verified and returned.

The university provides the full-time and part-time research facility leading to the Ph.D. Degree.

Duration:

• Full-time Ph.D. – 3/2 years minimum
• Part-time – 4 years minimum

Eligibility

The candidates interested in the Ph.D. programs need to fulfill the following criteria:

• Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
• If applying for the part-time program, the candidate:
  • Needs to have the experience of minimum 2-years.
  • Should be employed at the time of application.
  • Should be a staff of an academic, research, professional or technical institute.

How to Apply

The university grants admission to the Ph.D. program through an entrance exam, RESET, conducted by the University at Tirupati.

Note: The candidates qualified in the UGC/CSIR/NET/SET/GATE/GPAT exams do not have to write the RESET examination.

To apply for the Ph.D. program:

1. Go to the official website of SPMV.
2. Download the form and fill up all the required details.
3. Send the filled-up form with a demand draft of 1650/- in the favor of Registrar, SPMVV payable at Tirupati to the following address:

4. Attach the following documents with the form:
   • 10^th certificate as a date-of-birth proof
   • PG Degree certificate
   • Certificate of qualifying UGC/CSIR/NET/SET/GATE/GPAT, if applicable.
   • Service certificate, if applying for part-time program.
   • Two self-addressed envelopes of 22cm X 10cm size. Put the stamp of 10/- on one envelop and 45/- on the other.
