MIT Vishwaprayag University offers financial assistance and scholarships to its meritorious students based on their academic performance in the proposed National-level/ State-level entrance exams for the academic year 2025-26.
The details Scholarship Categories are given below-
MIT Vishwaprayag Merit Scholarship - I
This scholarship provides a 100% tuition fee waiver for the first year of the program up to 3% of the total students admitted, provided the candidate secures.
- 90 percentage/percentile or above for B Tech in JEE or MHT-CET
- 90 percentage/percentiles or above or equivalent for BBA, BCA programs in MAH-BBA/BCA-CET
- 90 percentage/percentiles and above for B. Des in MAH-B.Des, NID-DAT, UCEED, DAT, NIFT
- 90 percentage/percentiles and above for B Pharm in MHT-CET, NEET
- 90 percentage/percentiles and above in MAH-MBA-CET for the MBA Program 80% and above in MAT/CAT/XAT
- 80 percentage/percentiles and above in MHT-CET for the MCA program.
(The university may continue the scholarships in subsequent years of the program based on the academic performance and other criteria as decided by the university.)
MIT Vishwaprayag Merit Scholarship-II
This scholarship provides a 50% tuition fee waiver for the first year of the program and is applicable for 8% of the total students admitted, provided the candidate secures
- 80 percentage/percentiles or above for B.Tech in JEE or MHT-CET
- 80 percentage/percentiles and above or equivalent for BBA, BCA programs in MAH-BBA/BCA-CET
- 80 percentage/percentiles and above for B. Des in MAH-B.Des, NID-DAT, UCEED, DAT, NIFT
- 80 percentage/percentiles and above for B Pharm in MHT-CET, NEET
- 85 percentage/percentiles and above in MAH-MBA-CET, 75% and above in MAT/CAT/XAT for the MBA Program
- 75 percentage/percentiles and above in MHT-CET for the MCA program MHT-CET

MIT Vishwaprayag Merit Scholarship-III
This scholarship provides a 25% tuition fee waiver for the first year of the program and is applicable for 12% of the total students admitted.
- 75 percentage/percentile or above for B.Tech in JEE or MHT-CET
- 75 percentage/percentiles or above or equivalent for BBA, BCA programs in MAH-BBA/BCA-CET
- 75 percentage/percentiles and above for B. Des in MAH-B.Des, NID-DAT, UCEED, DAT, NIFT
- 75 percentage/percentiles and above for B Pharm in MHT-CET, NEET.
- 80 percentage/percentiles and above in MAH-MBA-CET, 70% and above in MAT/CAT/XAT for MBA
- 70 percentage/percentiles and above in MHT-CET for the MCA program
(The university may award scholarships in subsequent years of the program based on the academic performance and other criteria as decided by the university.)
The maximum number of scholarships that can be awarded for 2025-26 shall be as given below, based on full admissions as per the sanctioned intake. The actual number of scholarships shall be based on the number of admissions in the respective course and the availability of eligible students.

Fee Waiver to Elite Sportsperson
This fee waiver is awarded to deserving sports persons based on their participation / winning prizes at Nationally / internationally recognised sports competitions/events. Any candidate who participates/wins a medal at west zone inter-university, all India inter-university, national or international level, while representing MIT-VPU or playing for any Govt. sponsored / Govt. recognized official sports organization [IOA, BCCI, etc.]; in any nationally / internationally recognized sporting event; in individual or team sports; would be eligible for the following waiver for the remaining period of the programme, only if he/she participates and wins a medal on the National / International Level.

If the student has secured a top 5 ranking position in a tournament (Badminton, Chess, Table Tennis, Shooting, Archery, etc.) conducted by or affiliated with a recognised govt. sponsored/Govt. official sports organisation or federation at the National or International level, then he/she will be eligible for the participation scholarship.
As per the Academic calendar (i.e. from 1st August – 31st July), if a student has secured a medal in his 12th std. Then he/she can apply for the scholarship, provided all the criteria are met, in the 1st year itself. Securing a medal in 1st year will result in a scholarship being awarded in the 2nd year and so on. In case a student is in the last academic year, then he/she can apply for a reimbursement in the same academic year only.
Note: An individual or team winning at the West Zone, All India level, National or International level would be eligible for any one concession (whichever is higher).
