All about university school of automation and robotics

Likes

Modern infrastructure of college make it different from other govt. College
Govt. College always has the environment of studies.
Easy metro access as red line and blue line both are barely 1 km from college.

Dislikes

Faculty are good but some are not that much they alway in angry mode.

Internships Opportunities:

GoDaddy with I think stipend of 40k for a student of iiot he has done is dsa and web dev and he is currently working in GoDaddy as Software development role No major project but he was I think one of the topper of college.

Likes

The college infrastructure is one of the best across Delhi as it is recently opened , including ac classrooms, smart bords , well equipped computer labs
Offers future oriented curriculum like AIML, AIDS, IIOT and AR
Active Student clubs and numerous Extracurricular activities

Dislikes

Limited sports facilities as there is no gym, only one badminton court is there in the name of sports
Placement Opportunities is on lower side
There is only one canteen here and no outlets or stalls like Nescafe, amul etc

Internships Opportunities:

the internship opportunities at USAR is limited only a very few companies visits to provide the intrenships and there is most of the startups are there to provide the internships which did not provide any stippend during training so most of the students get the interships at there own by recahing out the comapnies through linkedin or the college provides the inhouse projects to the students which they considers as the internship

Likes

The campus is beautiful, and it is equipped with modern technologies.
This College is better than other colleges of IPU
Faculties are really great and really sweet.

Dislikes

The food provided in the college canteen is Overpriced
Few professors are not really good and most of the curriculum is irrelevant.
Campus area is small and does not have proper infrastructure for Sports.

Internships Opportunities:

There is a dedicated online community for internship opportunities, which is managed by the seniors. I don't think that the college provides and support for the internships. The student has to search himself/herself for the internships.

I quite liked the environment and surrounding of the College, the staff and the students both are supportive.
Also, the cleanliness and security checks.
The behaviour of the staff and facilities with respect to teachers is also so good.

Dislikes

Some shortage of books in Library although shortly there will be enough books for all the students
Lack of gymnasium, gym a basic need for a teenager has not been founded yet at the campus.
The gender ratio of the College. It's quite low it is 70:30

Placement Experience:

One can be eligible to sit in college placements after completing the 6 sem. Companies like TCS , Microsoft etc. offers jobs here. I'm not sure about the average and highest placement because the first ever batch of this college is going to be graduated in 2025 but the placement sessions and seminars are too good. Most os the students got the placement. My personal plan after completing this degree is tu pursue an MBA.

Reality of USAR

Likes

Comfortable classroom and good infrastructural. Ecofriendly College structure based on solar energy.
Faculty are ok ok. Some faculty are awesome but some are not supporting.
Good hostel Facility. So many club are available. Student work on many startup

Dislikes

Some teacher are not supporting. And staff are not supporting
Gim Facility are also not available. Sport ground are too small.
College campus are to small. And placement cell are new.

Internships Opportunities:

Intership opportunity are ok ok in my college. My college campis are new. Main campus of my college ( Guru gobind singh Indraprastha university) support in Intership and placement. My college also provide intership in some company like TCS, VIPRO, and some other company

My college is east campus of GGSIPU which was build in 2021. I most liked the infrastructure and environment of this college.
In this college all the facilities are supportive they help us to explore more things and knowledge in this college.there are many clubs which helps students to explore more like GDSS,IOSC and more
Our seniors are getting great placement. Even this is first year of placement of east campus

Dislikes

I don't like the area of my college because sahahdra is not good place for this type colley
This is college not good for fest .they didn't organise any big fest separately.we have to go main campus fir fest
This college is in 18 acre which is may be more greater atleast they have to build in 40-50 acre.So we get more place for cricket field and fest

Internships Opportunities:

Since this college is new from past year I diiheard more about internship.But from this year many students are doing internship one of the my known senior is doing 3 intership together . Many students get paid 70k per month as intern. In 2nd year I am working on 2 projects. Projects like making lie detector and gaming apps etc

Likes

Infrastructure of the main campus is good, buildings are newly build and well air conditioned and maintained.
I like the central library which remain open till 9 PM therefore providing a better place to study for hostellers also providing great variety of books.
The staff members and also the teaching faculty are helpfull and cooperative providing support to average students.

Dislikes

Campus life is boring there are hardly some events and cultural activities done in this college.

Placement Experience:

College placements are done on the basis of skills and score of students. Many big MNC and company like google, Amazone, TCS, HCL, Infosys etc. are here to place skilled students. AIML and AIDS like courses are in demand now a days so also off campus options are available every time for this. here around 30 % students are placed of every batch. After this course doing masters is a great plan because it open ups more job opportunaties. Average package provided here is around 8 lpa to 12 lpa

Likes

The most I like is the in first structure and the design of the college
It has all latest machineries and labs also safety of the student is well
Teachers and staff are highly educated and have good knowledge about the industry

Dislikes

Exams are held to early and semesters and less than 5 months
Funding for research and other things takes time

Internships Opportunities:

As college started in 2021 so the internship opportunities are less but the teachers are very helpful towards student to get internship opportunity. From 3rd semester students starts making their projects related to their labs such as iot lab ,mechatronics lab etc

GGSIPU east campus ( worth it or not ) ?

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is really good and modern.
The campus life is pretty good , not as great as IITs or DTU but its good.
The facilities provided by the college are better than most of the colleges.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic and tight packed.
The classes start from 9am which is really bad for travelling students.
Too many exams ,apart from end sem and mid sem there are too many class tests , assignments almost everyday , practicals , files , and so you don't get much free time for youself.

As i already mentioned , its a new campus So the first batch to get placements will be this year. But the main campus has an avg of 12 lpa placements So i'm expecting it to be 8-9 lpa here atleast as our dean and proffesors also said .
