LTSU Faculty

The faculty at the college is generally supportive and well-qualified, with a student-to-faculty ratio of approximately 10:1. Most faculty members are assistant professors with significant teaching experience, often over 10 years, and many hold PhDs. The college offers a unique course structure, particularly for the BBA program, which includes six subjects in the first semester. The exam pattern involves two mid-semester tests (MST1 and MST2), assignments, quizzes, vivas, and presentations, contributing to an internal assessment out of 50 marks.

The external end-term examination is also out of 50 marks, making a total of 100 marks per subject. The class sizes range from 45 to 60 students, and there is personalized mentorship with a mentor assigned to every 25-30 students. The faculty-student interaction is positive, with faculty members available for consultation and support outside class hours. The exams are moderately challenging, and about 5-10% of students fail to pass. Overall, the faculty is seen as motivating, promoting a family-like environment, and encouraging students to develop new skills.
