A college from my eye

Likes

i liked the descipline of my college about attendence & also very large labs
they also organize good events and cultural events

Dislikes

canteen of college is not good enough. not more capacity

Faculty:

there are enough faculties and all the faculties are experinced tin their respective fields. there are regular mid semester exams of each sem and the exams are medium and good enough to prepare for external exams and they also provide online quiz.

There is more focus on studies and also attendance
College has experienced faculties minimum 3 years experience

Dislikes

There is no focus on other activities like sports
There is only focus on studies no other talent are respected

Faculty:

So basically the student to faculty ratio is 30 students are provided with one counceller . Faculties response are well and they reach us whenever we need helps. Prof Chhaya Zala, Vraj hingu and Brijesh Patel are best faculty of college some faculties didn't like . There are only one Mid Sem and then directly external exams is there . Difficulty level is medium Only few Students fail to clear exams

There is cultural commetie so talent is given chance
75% attendance is required soo need to attend classes

Dislikes

There is a school type environment need to attend all classes
No external activities also no active clubs / societies

Faculty:

30 students per 1 faculty Chhaya Zala , Vraj Hingu ,Nirav Raja are best in whole colleges Only some facilities are not good else some are really helpful There is 2 exams first internal (midsem ) and end sem exams , vivas in external exams starting from 1st semester

Likes

Good faculties who sre experienced and teach well. They friend i made
The college activities that we have lead to good communication skills

Dislikes

The unavailability of class sometimes because so many numbers of students
Bunks and canceled lectures because of the class unavailability and student bunks

Faculty:

1:20 is the faculty student ratio. not much communication is there. Dr. YAC sir , Deven Gol sir , Dr. Chintan sir. They are really good in teaching and have realt good realtions. there are 2 exams. internal and external. the level is so easy

most of the faculties are great and their teaching methodology is good
courses provided are pretty good and teachers are also well experienced

Dislikes

the campus here is wayy too small for a college which is something disappointing
Grading system has too much marks set into internal and some teachers give marks based on your impression with them instead of your performance

Faculty:

faculties are easily approachable you can mail them at any time and they will answer you when they are free the faculties which i like are YAC sir and Deven Gol sir the way he teaches his subject you wont feel bored at all and you will understand those topics clearly i would prefer not to name the faculties i dont like but some teachers cant teach properly they have good knowledge about the subject but cant express it there is 1 mid sem and 1 semester end exam mid sem is pretty easy 60% of the paper comes from assignments end sem is a bit difficult to score but you can easily pass last sem only 4 ppl out of 86+7 d2d students failed in a subject

As far as the fees is concerned it is very affordable as compare to other college in the city. It also strictly follow attendance criteria and syllabus which is good. Also academics is good but need more practical knowledge as compare to theoretical.
I have got a very good exposure through certain cells and also in sports. I am currently MDC(membership development chair) of IEEE Student Body and also took part in SIH hackathon. I represented my college at west zone in badminton also stood second

Dislikes

It should be more competitive. Because our institution is new, it has completed 26 years but was firstly for girls it became coeducational in 2019 so for admission they gave range from 8000-35000 ranking in ACPC so it resulted in certain weak admiss.
I guess theory knowledge is provided bit more as compare to practical knowledge that has to be changed .

Faculty:

Faculty members are definitely not up to mark. By this I don't want to disrespect them, there are certain faculty who have completed PhD and are also very good at teaching but certain faculty are not able to deliver knowledge properly. Certain does not even have proper practical knowledge they only want to complete the portion. But not every faculty there are many who have proper knowledge of both practical and theory. I would name certain faculty who I liked most Shital Gondaliya Mam, Sneh Vyas Sir, Sagar Jani Sir, Ankita Chauhan Mam, Nirali Thakkar Mam, Deepti Mam,Sunit Parmar Sir,Niti Mam I would have surely forgotten one or two but these faculty are truely amazing. I would love to highlight Sagar Jani sir he is my counsellor too and also taught Engineering Graphics to me. There are two exams in particular per semester that is Mid Semester exam and External Exam (both theory and practical). There are also test in between. Course curriculum is also good but not best.

My experience at SEMCOM

Likes

SEMCOM organises a plethora of events, including literary, fine arts and sports events.
The college library has a wide range of books.

Dislikes

Several books in the library are old editions.

Faculty:

The strength of BCOM classes has always been less when compared to that of BBA and BCA. The college faculty is amazing. Teachers are cooperative and highly qualified. My learning experience with them has been great till now.

Faculty:

Really the faculty is awesome and therefore it is the best college in Gujarat. I would rate the faculty members 9 out of 10 although all not the same therefore it is the best college I have ever studied.

Life at MBIT from student's perspective.

Likes

Campus of MBIT was very beautiful and the environment is also nice and cool.
The students studying here are very helpful in every sense.

Dislikes

The internet connection in college and hostel is not as good as it should be.
Most of the faculties would not allow the students to use the lift facility.

Faculty:

The faculty here is approachable, and studets have ample opportunities to interact with them. All the faculties are either pursuing PhD or they have already gotten it. They are supportive to all the students.

Know MBIT from a students perspective

Likes

The college environment is great, the garden in the college is well maintained
The teaching and non teaching staff is also very helpful to all the students.

Dislikes

The grading system is below average, as everyone gets good grades always.
Laboratories could have got better internet connection.

Faculty:

Our faculty to student ratio is decent, the students can get to faculties for any difficulties they face or any other issues. Some faculties have a PhD and others are pursuing their PhD. Faculties help students in terms of scholarships and other extra curricular activities.
